Celebrities are expected to think one way politically.

Those who do not catch flak.

And Taylor Swift fans went berserk when this Super Bowl champion liked one social media post.

Pop sensation Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce’s relationship is apparently still going strong.

But “Swifties” were displeased to see that Kelce liked a tweet from former ESPN Anchor Sage Steele, who was forced out of the network due to her conservative political leanings.

Instagram message

In an Instagram post, Steele posed with former President Donald Trump, which is the ultimate crime as far as Democrats are concerned.

Steele captioned the picture by writing, “(cue the divisive, close-minded thoughts and unfollows in 3…2…1… 😂) #diversityofthought.”

Kelce liked Steele’s message, which triggered a meltdown amongst Swift’s woke left-wing outrage mob fanbase.

“Travis Kelce liking a post from Sage Steele promoting Trump,” one user wrote. “Not surprised that idiot is MAGA. Could smell MAGA on Travis from a mile away.”

Kelce has never made any overtly political statements one way or another, but as the money-chasing, fame hound he is, he happily jumped at the opportunity to be a paid spokesman for both Pfizer’s COVID vaccine and Bud Light amidst the massive controversies surrounding both.

On the other hand, Swift is a vocal Democrat who has encouraged her fans to vote against Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) in her home state of Tennessee and previously endorsed Biden over Trump in 2020.

Thus far, Swift has not made any 2024 endorsements despite Democrats and their media allies begging her to endorse Biden again, but her fans know where she stands politically.

Steele speaking out

As for Steele, she became persona non grata at ESPN for speaking her mind on various issues.

She voiced her displeasure about being forced by ESPN’s parent company, the Walt Disney Company, to take the COVID vaccine.

Steele also made comments about former President Barack Obama that triggered ESPN NFL analyst Ryn Clark to the point he refused to ever work with her again.

Steele was also one of the few employees at ESPN who spoke out against biological males competing in women’s sports.

During an interview with former University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines, Steele said, “I was asked to stop tweeting about it. I was asked to stop doing anything, saying anything about it on social media because I was ‘offending’ others at the company. . .I made sure I sent off another tweet that night after I received that email. Because, no, let’s stop living in this lie. . .I’m like, no, no, no, no, no. If we’re gonna preach on ESPN, and all of these things, then I’m gonna stand up for all these women — many of whom are afraid to do what Riley Gaines is doing, to do what I’m doing, at a much lesser level than Riley.”

Luckily for Travis Kelce, his Pfizer and Bud Light endorsement deals will continue to provide him cover from the woke left-wing outrage mob for at least a little while longer.
