Donald Trump is the mortal enemy of the Democrat Party.
But even some Democrats believe that their Party’s attacks against him have gone too far.
And one of Disney’s highest-paid employees just went rogue and trashed Democrats’ witch hunts against Donald Trump.
ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith is the network’s highest-paid employee with a reported salary of around $12 million per year, which would rank him among the highest-paid employees throughout the Walt Disney Company’s vast media empire.
And now, he has Disney executives and the rest of the woke left-wing outrage mob in a panic over his latest take on former President Donald Trump.
Make no mistake about it, like every other lifelong Democrat, Smith strongly dislikes Trump, but even he can’t sit idly by while his fellow Democrats engage in utter madness that is ripping the country apart at the seams.
Weak tea
Smith took aim specifically at Manhattan Democrat District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s 34-felony indictment against Trump for allegedly making a so-called “hush money payment” to porn star Stormy Daniels in order to cover up an affair.
“It’s much ado about nothing,” Smith said of the witch hunt against Trump. “To my liberal friends out there, all you’re doing is showing that you’re scared you can’t beat him on the issues and merits. So let me get this straight – the 45th president of the United States, who’s no longer the President of the United States at this particular moment, is in a courtroom today eight years after he was originally elected because he facilitated hush money to a porn star?”
“You got the Oval Office available to you and suddenly you’re not supposed to utilize it?” he added. “All I want to say is he got with a porn star and tried to hide it while he was campaigning for the highest office in the land, and that’s y’all case?”
It’s even worse than that.
Bragg charged Trump with falsifying business records in order to get around the fact that the statute of limitations on the crime he’s actually accusing Trump of – supposedly committing a campaign finance violation by not disclosing the payment to Daniels, even though that’s a federal crime that’s supposed to be far out of his jurisdiction – had long since passed.
Bragg then elevated the charge from a misdemeanor to a felony by alleging that Trump covered up a federal crime.
The case is so bad that even left-wing legal analysts have trashed Bragg.
Doubling down
Smith was even more pointed in his criticism while appearing on Fox News.
“Primarily I have voted Democrat throughout my life, but I’m utterly disgusted with what I’m seeing,” Smith declared. “They’ve clearly politicized this thing with Donald Trump because they can’t come up with a strategy to offset the momentum he’s clearly gained.”

The fact that prominent left-wing voices Democrats have traditionally counted upon to spread their narratives are now calling out their shenanigans in regard to Trump is undoubtedly their worst nightmare.
And their refusal to change course seems to prove that Democrats have no other recourse for defeating Donald Trump.
