This landmark Supreme Court decision has Democrats coming completely unhinged

Democrats are desperate to propel Joe Biden to victory despite his poor numbers.

They’re throwing every grievance they can possibly muster against the wall in the hopes one will stick with voters.

And now this landmark Supreme Court decision has Democrats coming completely unhinged.

The Supreme Court’s landmark Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade and made abortion a state issue again has become Democrats’ 2024 rallying cry.

They have been successful in passing ballot initiatives in support of their abortion-on-demand up until – and often after – the moment of birth agenda, largely because they’ve committed to it while Republicans have balked on exposing the reality of their pro-infanticide ideology.

McCain Country

And Arizona, a purple state that currently has Democrat leadership because of various GOP blunders, has become one of the latest battlegrounds for the abortion debate.

The Arizona Supreme Court voted 4-2 to uphold an 1864 law that essentially banned abortion outside of instances in which the mother’s life was in danger.

The state Supreme Court deliberated on a case that questioned whether a recent 15-week abortion ban superseded the old law.

Justice John Lopez wrote in a majority opinion, “We consider whether the Arizona Legislature repealed or otherwise restricted [the old law] by enacting. . .the statute proscribing physicians from performing elective abortions after fifteen weeks’ gestation. . .This case involves statutory interpretation—it does not rest on the justices’ morals or public policy views regarding abortion; nor does it rest on [the old law’s] constitutionality, which is not before us.”

The court ultimately decided that the 1864 law was “enforceable.”

Lopez added, “Absent the federal constitutional abortion right, and because [the fifteen-week limit] does not independently authorize abortion, there is no provision in federal or state law prohibiting [the 1864 law’s] operation. Accordingly, [the 1864 law] is now enforceable.”

The court put its decision on hold for 14 days and returned the matter to a lower court.

Democrats raging

Democrat Attorney General Kris Mayes has already announced that she will not enforce the law.

Mayes said, “Let me be completely clear, as long as I am Attorney General, no woman or doctor will be prosecuted under this draconian law in this state.”

She added that the ruling was “unconscionable” and “an affront to freedom.”

At a press conference, Arizona Democrat Governor Katie Hobbs implored the state legislature to “do the right thing” and pass a pro-abortion on-demand bill.

Hobbs added, “I am devastated by this decision, and I know many Arizonans are as well.”

Democrats are banking on abortion being the issue that galvanizes their base and drives turnout in November.
