This Democrat Congresswoman gave one “science” lesson that couldn’t have been more wrong if she tried

Former President Abraham Lincoln once said it’s “better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.’

It’s a lesson the ruling class elites could certainly benefit from learning.

And now this Democrat Congresswoman gave one “science” lesson that couldn’t have been more wrong if she tried.

Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX) lost her bid to become the Mayor of Houston, and she recently lost what little credibility she had left – if she had any left to begin with – when speaking to a group of elementary school students.

Jackson-Lee tried to educate the students about the Moon and the Sun, but it did not go well.

It’s “science”

“You’ve heard the word ‘full moon,’” Jackson-Lee began. “Sometimes you need to take the opportunity just to come out and see a full moon is that complete rounded circle, which is made up mostly of gasses. And that’s why the question is why or how could we as humans live on the moon? Are the gasses such that we could do that? The sun is a mighty powerful heat, but it’s almost impossible to go near the sun. The moon is more manageable.”

Republicans pounce

After getting called out for multiple gaffes, Jackson-Lee resorted to the time-tested classic of simply claiming she merely misspoke – even though she couldn’t have possibly been more wrong if she tried – and turned it into an attack on Republicans for bringing attention to her embarrassing, outright ignorant display rather than pushing Democrats’ agenda.

Jackson-Lee said, “Obviously I misspoke and meant to say the sun, but as usual, Republicans are focused on stupid things instead of stuff that really matters. What can I say, though, foolish thinkers lust for stupidity! . . . They should be focusing on issues like prenatal care, building more affordable housing, and more reduction of student loan debt as President Joe Biden is. Also, I care more about these children who would not have experienced the eclipse in this enthusiastic manner. And, I care more about protecting the rights of women and children than engaging in this kind of senseless dialogue!”

Jackson-Lee was shameless in her “Republicans pounce” deflection.

She pulled off a similar misdirection after she got busted humiliating one of her staffers on a leaked recording.

“I don’t want you to do a g*ddamn thing,” Jackson-Lee told a staffer on the audio recording. “I want you to have a f***ing brain. I want you to have read it. I want you to say ‘Congresswoman, with such and such date.’ That’s what I want. That’s the kind of staff that I want to have. So some stupid other motherf***er did it. And I don’t have the information. Nobody sent me the information. I need to ensure my schedule and, you know, if Boo Boo did it, s***-ass did it, f***face did it. And nobody knows a g*ddamn thing in my office! Okay? Nothing!”

It’s quite ironic that Jackson-Lee demeaned her staffers as “f***ing idiots,” especially with the things that keep coming out of her mouth.
