San Francisco has become a national disgrace after decades of Democrat control.

Some of the city’s residents have started to fight back.

And Nancy Pelosi’s jaw hit the floor when San Francisco was hit with this surprising lawsuit.

San Francisco, California is a shocking example of how Democrats can run a city into the ground.

Open-air drug use, rampant homelessness, and a massive crime wave have sent residents and businesses fleeing.

San Francisco’s Democrat Mayor and City Council have sat and watched their city become a horror show.

San Francisco residents are fed up and fighting back

The Tenderloin neighborhood in downtown San Francisco is one of the worst areas in the city for drugs and crime.

Tenderloin residents and two area hotels filed a lawsuit in federal court against the city of San Francisco over the deteriorating conditions in the neighborhood.

The lawsuit accused the city of tolerating homeless camps, open-air drug use, and crime in the neighborhood.

San Francisco Police data found that crime in Tenderloin surged by 240% from August 2022 to August 2023.

The neighborhood currently bears more resemblance to a third-world country than it does America.

“While we understand and share the frustration of Tenderloin businesses and residents, the City is making progress in reducing crime, disrupting open-air drug markets, and addressing homelessness, all while complying with the preliminary injunction issued in the Coalition on Homelessness case,” a statement by the San Francisco City Attorney’s office stated.

San Francisco is being sued on the other side by the Coalition on Homelessness, accusing the city of harsh treatment toward the homeless that violated their rights and city ordinances.

The Coalition on Homelessness lawsuit claimed the city violated homeless rights under the 4th Amendment by removing them from public streets, and the 8th Amendment’s protections against cruel and unusual punishment.

San Francisco hit with another lawsuit over its homeless problem

A separate lawsuit was filed against San Francisco in federal court by the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco – located in Tenderloin –- accusing the city of violating a 2020 settlement agreement that required city officials to make “reasonable efforts” at eliminating homeless camps in the area around the college.

“The city blithely treats the Tenderloin as a place where this type of harmful activity can happen on the streets and sidewalks, and it’s inconceivable that they’d allow it in other neighborhoods,” Matthew Davis, the lawyer representing both the law school and the Tenderloin residents, told the San Francisco Chronicle.

The residents of San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood have reached their breaking point with the Democrat-controlled city’s mismanagement.
