All hell broke loose when House Republicans introduced this bill honoring Donald Trump

Democrats have lost all touch with reality.

Their battles with Trump Derangement Syndrome have really done a number on them.

But all hell broke loose when House Republicans introduced this bill honoring Donald Trump.

Former President Dwight D. Eisenhower announced the construction of Dulles International Airport in January 1958, naming the airport in honor of his Secretary of State, John Foster Dulles, who played as big of a role in helping build the Deep State as nearly anyone.

Dulles International Airport ranked 33rd out of 764 U.S. airports in terms of passenger traffic last year.

Roughly 25 million passengers flew in or out of Dulles in 2023, and that includes the ruling class elite politicians and unelected bureaucrats who control the Washington, D.C. “Swamp.”

“Dulles is a busy international hub that’s critical for lawmakers and other Washington officials’ travel, particularly for airlines and routes that do not operate out of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, its smaller domestic counterpart also located in Virginia,” Fox News reported.

But some House Republicans want to rename Dulles Airport.

Along with six Republicans, Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA), who also serves as Republicans’ Chief Deputy Majority Whip, introduced a bill “to designate the Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia as the ‘Donald J. Trump International Airport.’”

“In my lifetime, our nation has never been greater than under the leadership of President Donald J Trump,” Reschenthaler told Fox News. “As millions of domestic and international travelers fly through the airport, there is no better symbol of freedom, prosperity and strength than hearing ‘Welcome to Trump International Airport’ as they land on American soil.”

Of course, Democrats reacted to the proposed change with fury.

Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA), whose district partially covers Dulles’ grounds, said, that “Donald Trump is facing 91 felony charges,” before adding that “if Republicans want to name something after him, I’d suggest they find a federal prison.”

Rep. Jennifer Wexton (D-VA) said, “This is just another in a long list of instances where extreme House Republicans have shown how unserious and delusional they are.”

“Let’s get to work on the real issues the American people sent us here for — not renaming an airport after someone who sought to undermine our democracy,” Wexton added.

There was one Democrat Representative who supported the name change, but it wasn’t because he is a Trump fan.

“Dulles is an old, ugly airport that no one wants to see,” Rep. Brendan Boyle (D-PA) said. “So I think this is a fitting tribute to [Trump].”

Rep. Reschenthaler blasted Democrats for throwing a hissy fit over naming an airport after a former President.

“If Democrats spent as much time working for the American people as they spend attacking President Trump, our nation would not be in a state of chaos and weakness,” he said. “Thankfully, the end to this nightmarish chapter of our nation’s history ends in November.”

The bill has little to no chance of passing the House.

But it served the purpose of infuriating Democrats who still suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome.
