Liz Cheney humiliated herself after this desperate move backfired in a major way

Liz Cheney has turned into a national punchline.

She’s got one last embarrassing failure on her way out the door.

And Liz Cheney humiliated herself after this desperate move backfired in a major way.

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) is facing an uphill fight to keep her political career alive ahead of Wyoming’s Republican Primary.

Former President Donald Trump previously endorsed her challenger, attorney Harriet Hageman, and conservatives have since rallied around her candidacy in short order.

According to the most recent public polling data, Hageman is on track for a landslide victory over Rep. Cheney.

One pollster even went so far as to say it’s a “forgone conclusion” Cheney will lose the Primary.

With her political career hanging by a thread, Rep. Liz Cheney made a desperate move touting a new endorsement.

Cheney took to social media to post a picture of actor Kevin Costner wearing a black cowboy hat and t-shirt that reads, “I’m for Liz Cheney.”

The Congresswomen captioned the image by saying, “Real men put country over party.”

Of course, Costner stars as a Montana rancher on the hit tv show Yellowstone, which has become a smash hit largely due to the fact that the show hasn’t gone woke.

Clearly, Rep. Cheney hoped to tap into the success of a show that’s popular with conservatives by getting the endorsement of the show’s star, but in the end, just proved how out-of-touch she is with the people of Wyoming.

While Yellowstone may be popular with conservatives, Kevin Costner is a Hollywood left-wing radical who campaigned for Barack Obama and lives in California.

Cheney has avoided campaigning in person in Wyoming during the final weeks of the race, choosing instead to spend what little time she has remaining in Congress helping Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Democrats with the sham January 6 Committee.

Her opponent, Harriet Hageman, seized on the opportunity to slam her over the endorsement.

‘Yellowstone is a good show, but Kevin Costner is a pretend rancher in a Hollywood production shot mostly in Montana, not Wyoming,’ Hageman told The Daily Mail. “And I’d bet that if he had to work a real ranch for a day, he’d call his agent to get him out of there.”

“I’ll take the support of the people of Wyoming any day of the week over a liberal actor who voted for Joe Biden,” Hageman concluded.

Cluelessly touting the endorsement of a left-wing Hollywood actor is an embarrassing reminder of how Liz Cheney became a Representative of the Swamp, rather than Wyoming.

Liz Cheney knows she’s headed to a humiliating defeat in the Republican primary, and even her Hail Mary’s aren’t landing.

It seems the Wyoming Republican Primary will be the end of the line for Nancy Pelosi’s favorite Republican.
