Since becoming House Speaker, Mike Johnson has been repeatedly steamrolled by President Joe Biden.
Like his RINO predecessors, the self-proclaimed “conservative Republican” has helped pass almost every item on the Democrat President’s wish list.
And Mike Johnson pulled Joe Biden aside to make one secret apology that has conservatives seeing red.
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) has been a massive disappointment for conservatives during his short tenure as Speaker of the House.
He caved in and supported the reauthorization of the incredibly unconstitutional, Big Government, authoritarian disaster known as Section 702 of FISA.
Section 702 allows the ruling class elites to illegally spy on working-class Americans without obtaining a warrant as specifically required under the Fourth Amendment.
It’s the same warrantless wiretapping program former President Barack Obama’s regime used to spy on former President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign during the Democrats’ “Russian-collusion” hoax.
But Johnson was not done selling out conservatives.
With the help of Democrats and establishment RINOs, Johnson also gave Biden another $60 billion in taxpayer funds for his proxy war against Russia in Ukraine, as well as billions more tax dollars to the elites’ secondary war fronts in Israel and Thailand.
“The American people are now seeing laid bare that the Republican Party campaigned using big rhetoric, saying they’re going to secure the border, and then when push comes to shove, the speaker spent six months saying, ‘Hey, I’m going to secure the border, I will demand it on the back of Ukraine,’ and then walks away from that promise,” Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) said.
Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) admitted that he’s “never seen such a flip” as the one made by Johnson.
And now, conservatives are finding out that Speaker Johnson pulled President Biden aside to “apologize for the eye-roll memes that went around the world.”
“This past March, Johnson felt he owed Biden an apology,” Real Clear Politics reported. “Seated just over the president’s shoulder during the State of the Union address, the speaker couldn’t mask his expressions of exhaustion and exasperation as Biden laid into Republicans.”
At a Friends of Ireland luncheon, Johnson toasted Biden as “America’s most famous Irishman.”
He then pulled Biden off to the side and begged him for forgiveness over the “eye-roll memes that went around the world.”
“The president laughed, then told the speaker he was glad Johnson was better behaved than Nancy Pelosi had been during the speeches of his predecessor: ‘I’m just grateful you didn’t rip my speech up,’” Real Clear Politics reported. “The speaker replied, ‘Well, Mr. President, don’t think my friends back home didn’t want me to light it on fire.’”
Instead of apologizing to Joe Biden, Mike Johnson should be fighting like hell to stop him from destroying the United States.
