Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has never been in the minority in her brief Congressional career.
She received a wake-up call from the new Republican majority.
And Kevin McCarthy made one announcement that left Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez seething with rage.
Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) made the unprecedented move to throw two of the most pro-Trump conservatives in the U.S. House off their committee assignments in the last Congress.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was removed from every committee she was assigned to due to bogus claims by Democrats that she was promoting “violence,” and alleged past remarks she made before entering Congress.
Rep. Pelosi followed that up by stripping Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) from his committee assignments for posting a satirical cartoon video of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on social media, falsely claiming he was promoting “violence.”
The purely political move was an attempt to intimidate pro-Trump conservatives in the House to keep quiet.
Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) promised last year to strip a trio of Democrats from certain committee assignments.
Now, Speaker McCarthy is making good on his promise, removing Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s top lieutenant in her “Squad,” from the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
Deranged anti-Trump Reps. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Eric Swalwell (D-CA) are also being removed for the House Intelligence Committee.
McCarthy said that Rep. Omar’s frequent anti-Semitic outbursts was the reason she was being removed from the Foreign Affairs Committee.
The radical left-wing Congresswoman has been rebuked by some of her fellow Democrats for antisemitic and anti-Israel remarks.
“Eric Swalwell cannot get a security clearance in the public sector,” McCarthy said last year. “Why would we ever give him a security clearance in the secrets to America? So, I will not allow him to be on Intel.”
Rep. Swalwell was previously compromised by a personal relationship he had with a Chinese spy named Fang Fang, who posed as a political supporter and ultimatley had a romantic relationship with the California Congressman.
“You have Adam Schiff, who had lied to the American public time and again,” McCarthy continued. “We will not allow him to be on the Intel Committee either.”
Rep. Schiff became a regular in the corporate-controlled media promoting the fabricated “Russia collusion” hoax against former President Donald Trump.
He used his position on the House Intelligence Committee to push the lie that he had seen classified evidence that showed Trump was connected to Russia.
“I made all [three] cases before,” McCarthy told Punchbowl News. “It’s not like it’s anything new… remember, this is what Nancy Pelosi – this is the type of Congress she wanted to have.”
Speaker McCarthy cited the new standard set by his predecessor, Pelosi, as his justification for kicking Democrats off of their committees.
