Joe Manchin has been a thorn in the side of his fellow Democrats.

He’s about to become a major roadblock to the President’s extreme agenda.

And Joe Biden was furious when Joe Manchin hit him with this nasty surprise.

President Joe Biden’s disastrous legislative agenda has been ground to a halt after Republicans took control of the House of Representatives after the 2022 Midterm elections.

But he’s still doing lasting damage to the country by stacking the federal courts with woke, left-wing activist judges through the Senate confirmation process.

Senate Democrats only have a slim 51-49 majority, which means that they can’t afford to have more than two of their fellow Democrats vote against or abstain from voting to confirm Biden’s judicial nominees.

Manchin threatens to stop Biden Judges

Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) announced that he wouldn’t vote for any of Biden’s judicial nominees if they couldn’t garner the support of at least one Republican Senator.

“Just one Republican,” Manchin declared. “That’s all I’m asking for. Give me something bipartisan. This is my own little filibuster. If they can’t get one Republican, I vote for none. I’ve told [Democrats] that. I said, ‘I’m sick and tired of it, I can’t take it anymore.’”

He pointed to establishment Senators Lindsey Graham (RINO-SC), Susan Collins (RINO-ME), and Lisa Murkowski (RINO-AK) as potential votes Democrats could pick up if they worked with them.

Manchin wants Senate Democrats to work harder to gain the support of Republicans on judicial nominees.

“If they don’t have a Republican, I’m opposing,” Manchin said. “That’s my way of saying: ‘I’m leaving this place, I’ve tried everything I can. Don’t tell me you can’t get one.’ If you’ve got a decent person you can at least get one. Just go ask Lisa, go ask Susan, even Lindsey. Lisa and Susan both are not controlled by just voting party line, I know that. But you’ve got to ask them.”

Judicial confirmations in peril for Biden

The West Virginia Democrat is retiring after this session of Congress, and he’s throwing a monkey wrench in his own Party’s plans on his way out the door.

Senate Democrats are trying to get as many Judges as possible confirmed for the rest of this year, with the party facing the growing possibility they’ll lose control of the chamber after the 2024 election.

On party-line votes, this will make confirming especially controversial Judges harder before the election.

Manchin’s new position means that Senate Democrats can only afford to lose a single vote if they have no absences for the rest of the year.

Vulnerable Senate Democrats up for reelection this November will be nervous about casting the deciding vote on controversial judicial nominees.

Now, it appears that Biden appeals court nominee Adeel Mangi – an anti-Semitic, Islamic terrorist sympathizer – will be stopped with Manchin’s announcement.

Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) has already come out in opposition of the nominee, and Mangi has no Republican support.

Joe Biden’s judicial plans suffered a serious setback with Joe Manchin’s surprise announcement.
