Courtroom proceedings for Alvin Bragg’s witch hunt against Donald Trump began on Monday.

Bragg charged Trump with 34 felonies for allegedly falsifying business records in relation to supposed “hush money” payments made to cover up an alleged affair with a pornstar.

And all hell broke loose after Donald Trump uttered these six words to the media outside a New York courtroom.

Former President Donald Trump made history on Monday as the first former President to ever face a politically motivated show trial orchestrated by the opposition party in power.

Manhattan Democrat District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged Trump with 34 different felonies over a reimbursement he made to his former attorney Michael Cohen for allegedly making a “hush money” payment to pornstar Stormy Daniels as part of an October 2016 nondisclosure agreement designed to keep her supposed affair with Trump under wraps.

Of course, this is all part of Democrats’ lawfare against Trump.

Not only does Bragg not have jurisdiction to enforce the federal campaign finance laws he’s used to charge Trump, but even the Biden Department of Justice and Federal Election Commission refused to charge the former President because there simply isn’t a real case to support such accusations.

According to Bragg, Trump’s alleged payment to Daniels via a proxy somehow influenced the 2016 election because it wasn’t specifically reported on his financial disclosure form.

However, the report that would have contained the reimbursement was not due until January 2017, months after the November election.

But the rule of law does not matter to Democrats, especially when it comes to taking down Trump.

Trump is now facing a Democrat prosecutor in a trial that is overseen by a Democrat Judge and an all-Democrat jury.

On Monday, Trump spoke to reporters before he entered the courtroom to start the sham trial.

And the former President did not mince words.

“Nothing like this has ever happened before,” Trump told reporters. “There is no case and they’ve said that — people that don’t necessarily follow or like Donald Trump.”

Trump was referring to the many legal experts who have admitted that Bragg’s charges are not based in reality.

If convicted, however, the former President could be locked up behind bars.

Trump pointed out the fact that “this case was brought as political persecution.”

“This is a persecution like never before,” he told reporters.

“And again, it’s a case that should have never been brought,” Trump declared. “It’s an assault on America.”

He then said, “I’m very proud to be here,” before adding that “this is an assault on our country.”

“It’s a country that’s run by an incompetent man who is very much involved in this case,” Trump said. “This is really an attack on a political opponent. That’s all it is.”

“I’m very honored to be here,” he concluded.

Jury selection for Donald Trump’s trial started on Monday, and considering the fact that it takes place in New York City, he’s virtually guaranteed to face a Democrat jury who despise him.
