Ron DeSantis was all smiles after what Donald Trump just said about him

Rumors continue to swirl about whether or not Donald Trump will run for the White House again in 2024.

And while that’s still yet to be seen, many are already speculating who Trump will pick to be his Vice President.

And recently, Ron DeSantis was all smiles after what Donald Trump just said about him.

The Fake News Media has been trying to pit Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump against each other for months now.

The Left knows that DeSantis and Trump would be a formidable team, so they’ve been trying to form a wedge between the two men.

But despite reports saying there is friction between the two men, Donald Trump praised DeSantis and his work as Governor during an interview earlier this week.

“He’s a good guy and he’s doing a good job,” Trump stated during an interview with Michael Savage.

Trump’s praise of DeSantis came after Savage asked if the former President would consider DeSantis as a running mate if he ran again in 2024.

“I would consider a lot of people,” Trump replied.

So, while the former President gave a non-answer, he didn’t shut down the idea completely.

Trump went on to remind Savage and the listeners that he supported DeSantis in the Florida Republican primary for Governor.

“Yeah, he’s good. I endorsed Ron when he was a three – three percent, you know?” Trump remarked. “I’m very strongly vested and invested in him.”

While DeSantis is up for re-election as Governor this year, his popularity around the country has become something that just can’t be ignored.

DeSantis’ pushback against masks, lockdowns, and unconstitutional vaccine mandates has endeared him to many on the Right, and even a few on the Left.

Trump dismissed the idea that there was any friction between the two men.

“He’s been a friend of mine for a long time. It’s totally fake news. I think Ron said last week – he said it very publicly – the press is never going to get in the middle of my friendship with Donald Trump,” the former President stated.

Joe Biden and the Democrats know that they’re in for a bloodbath this fall when Republicans mop the floor with them during the midterms, so they’re desperately holding out hope that something might turn around before 2024.

But with Biden’s plummeting approval rating, it doesn’t look promising.
