DSA socialists have won primaries across the country this year.
Now a sitting Democrat senator went on Fox News to say what’s happening.
What Fetterman told Sean Hannity about the DSA's real target will not air on CNN.
The DSA's 2026 Platform Calls for Abolishing the Senate and ICE
Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) has spent the better part of two years watching the Democratic Socialists of America take over his party from the inside – and he has had enough.
Sitting down with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Fetterman went through the DSA's published platform plank by plank and rejected every word of it.
Then he named what the DSA actually wants to do to the American middle class.
"They want to impoverish middle class whites, and seize all the production," Fetterman said.
That line didn't come from a Republican attack ad – it came from a Democrat who caucuses with the people backing the DSA's takeover.
Hannity had walked Fetterman through the DSA's official platform – the one the organization published earlier this summer and didn't try to hide.
The DSA platform calls for eliminating the United States Senate entirely.
The president and the Supreme Court would be replaced by bodies chosen by and answerable to Congress.
ICE would be abolished. So would the prison system. Every illegal alien in the country would receive blanket amnesty. The Pentagon would be defunded.
Fetterman's response was blunt: "Of course not. Like, the DSA, they're deeply anti-American. They're deeply anti-capitalism. They're deeply anti-the American way of life."
He kept going.
"When you look at the kind of individuals that are actually in the DSA," he said, "they live in homes that their parents bought for millions of dollars."
Trust fund radicals preaching poverty for everyone else.
Fetterman told Hannity he has been watching this coming for a while: "Now, I've been the one person to really criticize the DSA types and some of the unacceptable kinds of candidates that my party is selecting."
DSA-Backed Socialists Have Won More Than 30 Democrat Primaries in 2026
DSA-backed candidates have already flipped at least seven congressional primaries in 2026, according to Fox News Digital – including the Denver race where 29-year-old Melat Kiros ended Rep. Diana DeGette's nearly three-decade hold on Colorado's 1st Congressional District.
The Washington Examiner reported that DSA candidates have won nearly half their races in the 2026 midterm cycle so far.
The organization surpassed 120,000 members as of July 4 – up from just 24,000 in 2017.
That is a five-fold increase in less than a decade.
DSA co-chair Megan Romer went on Fox News and confirmed the platform point by point under direct questioning from Shannon Bream – abolishing the Senate, abolishing ICE, eliminating national borders, scrapping the prison system.
All of it on the record.
This is the published platform of a movement that now controls the New York City mayor's office and is on track to send its largest-ever congressional delegation to Washington in November.
Fetterman told Hannity the party needs to draw a hard line: "I would think every single Democrat should condemn the DSA. This is not like a big tent situation. They should have their own entire party and run alone as the kinds of communists and socialists and anti-American party that they are."
Why Every Democrat on the Ballot in November Needs to Answer for the DSA
Fetterman is one of the only Democrats in the country saying it plainly, and the silence from every other member of his party answers the question.
He told Fox News Digital earlier this year that identifying "with a communist who praises Mao and Cuba and for these places, that should be foreign to any Democrat," and that the direction of his party has become "troubling."
The DSA isn't hiding what it wants.
Its platform – published and confirmed by its own leadership – calls for rewriting the Constitution, concentrating all federal power in a single legislative body, and dismantling the separation of powers that has governed this country since 1789.
The class warfare framing Fetterman identified is deliberate.
When DSA candidates talk about capitalism, they tie it to race – every time.
It is a strategy to make opposing socialism sound like defending bigotry, which is the only way they can win that argument.
Republican candidates need to make every Democrat on the ballot in November own that platform.
Because the DSA already does.
