Unnamed aides are coming forward about what it’s really like to work for Kamala Harris and their reports will shock you

Looks like Kamala Harris just can’t catch a break these days.

Her highly publicized trip to the border was such a disaster she even has some in her own party mad at her.

And now unnamed aides are coming forward about what it’s really like to work for Kamala Harris, and their reports will shock you.

According to reports released earlier this week, many on the Vice President’s staff are complaining of communication issues and low morale.

Politico reported that communication issues and distrust between aides and senior officials on Harris’ team have contributed to a “tense and at times dour office atmosphere.”

In Politico’s report, they stated they interviewed twenty-two current and former Harris staffers.

It appears much of the criticism was directed at Harris’ chief of staff, Tina Flournoy.

According to several aides, Flournoy has contributed to a culture “where ideas are ignored or met with harsh dismissals and decisions are dragged out.”

Inside sources say the tension behind closed doors was amplified leading up to and during Harris’ recent trip to the southern border.

Harris aides and even a few Biden administration officials, including those who handle travel arrangements, were “left scrambling” by the VP’s quick decision to travel to El Paso.

“People are thrown under the bus from the very top, there are short fuses, and it’s an abusive environment. It’s not a healthy environment and people often feel mistreated. It’s not a place where people feel supported, but a place where people feel treated likes—,” one source with knowledge of operations at Harris’ office told Politico.

Harris’ spokesperson, Symone Sanders, downplayed the allegations saying that it is more about people who have “hard jobs.”

“We are not making rainbows and bunnies all day. What I hear is that people have hard jobs, and I’m like ‘welcome to the club. We have created a culture where people, if there is anything anyone would like to raise, there are avenues for them to do so. Whoever has something they would like to raise, they should raise it directly,” Sanders told the outlet.

While politics is a high-stress and often thankless job, it sounds like there is more going on in Kamala Harris’ office than a few stressful situations.

One has to wonder if Harris is on the path she expected to be on at this point in her term, or is she starting to get frustrated that this isn’t the cakewalk to the Presidency she thought it would be.
