Tensions are escalating between RINO Speaker Mike Johnson and conservatives in the U.S. House.

Conservatives are furious over his decision to capitulate to Democrats and support President Joe Biden’s demands.

That’s why the House Freedom Caucus has turned to FART to stop the ruling class elites from stripping power from conservatives.

It didn’t take long for House Speaker Mike Johnson (RINO-LA) to stab conservatives in the back by supporting Biden and Democrats’ big government agenda.

Johnson voted for reauthorization of the warrantless wiretapping program that former President Barack Obama used to illegally spy on former President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.

He allowed a $1.2 trillion spending bill that funded Joe Biden’s weaponization of the government and woke agenda to pass and also caved in on a multi-billion-dollar spending bill for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan.

Johnson’s betrayal has some conservative lawmakers threatening to forcefully remove him from his position as Speaker in the same way Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) successfully ousted former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).

But establishment RINOs in the House responded by threatening to punish conservatives who oppose Johnson selling out.

RINO Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) called for Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY), Chip Roy (R-TX), and Ralph Norman (R-SC) to be booted from the House Rules Committee over their principled opposition to Johnson’s betrayal.

“The three members who refuse to support the Speaker’s agenda should resign from the Rules Committee immediately,” Lawler wrote on social media. “If they refuse, they should be removed immediately,” he continued. “They are there on behalf of the conference, not themselves.”

“That trio had ostensibly been named to the rules committee as part of a broader set of concessions former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) made to lock down the gavel last year,” Politico reported. “In that capacity, they have repeatedly tanked key rules for legislation leadership has sought to fast-track, forcing Johnson to lean on Democrats to pass bills under suspension of the rules, which requires a two-thirds majority.”

But the House Freedom Caucus reactivated the Floor Action Response Team (FART) as a way to prevent the establishment from removing Massie, Roy, and Norman from the Rules Committee by using a voice vote.

“Conservatives in the House Freedom Caucus are signing up to take shifts to monitor the chamber floor in order to prevent their own party leaders from making unilateral moves that could curb their power,” Politico reported. “The Freedom Caucus’ Floor Action Response Team, shorthanded as ‘FART,’ aims to guard against an unannounced request to pass resolutions that would stealthily limit their leverage against leadership.”

FART will serve to prevent other Republicans from rushing through changes that would strip the three Freedom Caucus members from the Rules Committee, as well as changing the rules to make it harder to oust Johnson from power by using a motion to vacate.

Only time will tell how this all plays out.

But it’s safe to say that tensions will likely only escalate from here.
