In a show of true communist-style rule, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced last week that he was going to mobilize the FBI and DOJ against parents protesting CRT in public schools.
Needless to say, this sent shock waves around the country.
And now, this former Trump adviser is calling for an investigation into Attorney General Merrick Garland’s mobilization of the FBI against parents.
The conservative legal group, America First, set up by Stephen Miller, a former Trump adviser, has requested the Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General investigate the circumstances surrounding Attorney General Garland’s memo that pledged to mobilize the DOJ and FBI against parents who pushed back against CRT.
“Targeting parents in local school boards is atrocious. There’s no lawful basis for doing so. There’s no federal nexus that’s even connected to such an investigation,” Miller stated during an interview on Fox News Sunday.
Last week it was released that Attorney General Garland ordered federal law enforcement authorities in a memo to meet with local leaders and discuss what he referred to as a recent “disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence” against teachers and school board members.
The memo, not coincidentally, came just days after the National School Boards Association sent a letter to Biden stating that clashes between parents and school boards may amount to “domestic terrorism.”
The idea that the Biden administration is doing this for some legitimate law enforcement purpose is downright laughable.
This is nothing more than the Left trying to silence dissenters.
“It seems quite obvious that it is meant to chill free speech and intimidate parents into silence and into obedience,” Miller continued on.
The last year has seen more contentious school board meetings than ever before with parents protesting things like the implementation of Critical Race Theory curriculum as well as masking requirements.
Americans are under attack and they’re under attack by their own President and his staff.
The constant government overreach is not just sickening, it’s downright frightening.
For Garland to even insinuate that parents are akin to “domestic terrorists” because they care about what their children are being taught in government schools, is appalling and, quite frankly, criminal.
It’s time Americans wake up before it’s too late.
