Joe Biden is having a rough first year in office.
It’s so bad many of his Democrat allies in swing states are concerned about holding onto their seats in the 2022 midterm elections.
And Texas Governor Abbott says Joe Biden is ignoring this block of voters and it shows.
Joe Biden and Texas Governor Greg Abbott haven’t been seeing eye to eye lately.
Governor Abbott is furious with Biden at his mishandling of the crisis at the southern border and Abbott isn’t afraid to say exactly what he thinks.
In an interview on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures this past weekend, Abbott said he believes the Biden administration “completely abandoned” ranchers, residents of Texas and “all the people who live on the border.”
Abbott continued in the interview to say he believes Joe Biden is “putting them in danger.”
No doubt Biden is totally ignoring the southern border and its people, in essence disregarding an entire voting block.
It’s gotten so bad that even some Democrats have turned on Biden because of his complete mishandling of the southern border and the illegal aliens streaming into the U.S. by the thousands.
Abbott pointed out in the interview that the counties along the southern border “are people who traditionally have voted Democrat, that the Biden administration is ignoring.”
It’s hard to say why Biden is ignoring that block of voters but it appears, in large part, to be because he doesn’t want to admit he messed up.
Governor Abbott, however, is not letting Joe Biden forget what is happening in Texas.
“But now, we’re seeing the highest number of cross border crossings and it’s all because of the catastrophic open border policies by the Biden administration,” Abbott stated.
Border Patrol agents at the southern border continue to be overwhelmed by the hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens crossing the border.
Yet, the Biden administration just ignores what’s happening.
Biden has tried to blame it on Donald Trump, but the American people aren’t buying it.
It is very possible this could be the nail in the Democrats’ coffin come the 2022 midterms if someone doesn’t do something to clean up the mess, and clean it up fast.
