Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Tight End Travis Kelce have played together for seven seasons.
They’ve become the most prolific Quarterback-Tight End duo in the NFL and have helped their team win three Super Bowls over the past five seasons.
Kelce picked up the reputation as a party animal off the field.
When he recently received his diploma from the University of Cincinnati because he had missed his own commencement years earlier, he celebrated in true Kelce fashion.
Kelce slammed a beer on stage after shaking hands with the University’s President while the Beastie Boys song Fight for Your Right played.

Recently, he was spotted partying in Louisville, Kentucky with the electronic music duo The Chainsmokers at an event the night before the Kentucky Derby.
The following day, he attended the Derby before traveling to Miami, Florida on Sunday for Formula One’s Miami Grand Prix.
Partick Mahomes says there’s more to Travis Kelce than most people know
But the Chiefs Quarterback recently appeared on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast and revealed a secret about Kelce.
According to Mahomes, Kelce’s party animal image is a “persona” he only puts on for attention – a revelation that shouldn’t come as any surprise after The Daily Mail previously reported that his longtime friend and manager admitted that his relationship with Pop Star Taylor Swift was merely the culmination of their years-long plan for Kelce to become “as big as The Rock.”
“He’s just a good dude, man, but he does a great job of just working and getting himself open and he understands [and] he’s smart,” Mahomes said. “He puts on this persona like, ‘I’m partying, I’m drinking [or] whatever’ but he’s really super intelligent.”
He said that his friendship with Kelce helped them develop a connection on the field.
“He gets on the football field, and he gets open and I just know where he’s going to be [and] at the same time, I think our friendship kind of built naturally,” Mahomes said.
Mahomes and Kelce hold the NFL record for most postseason touchdowns by a Tight End and Quarterback duo in league history.
The Chiefs Quarterback said that despite Kelce’s efforts for attention and publicity, his own hard-partying days are behind him because he’s now a family man, raising two young children with his wife, Brittany.
“No, I cannot [keep up with the Kelce brothers]. I used to, I think, and then I had kids. You hear my voice now and I left early every night [when they were in Las Vegas for his charity golf tournament and gala].… You gotta pick and choose these days,” Mahomes explained.
Mahomes said that recently retired future NFL Hall of Fame Center Jason Kelce has the same problem.
“Jason has kids too, so he has to pick and choose, but when he chooses, he can go,” Mahomes said.
