Radicals have taken over the Democratic Party.
Fringe ideas are becoming mainstream Democrat talking points.
And one socialist Congresswoman has a deranged criminal justice reform proposal.
“Squad” member Rashida Tlaib is back at it again espousing insane ideas.
The self-described Democratic Socialist supports the BREATHE Act, which would release all federal prisoners within ten years.
When Axios reporter Jonathan Swan asked her about the extreme plan, she hemmed and hawed and gave conflicting answers.
.@jonathanvswan presses Rep. Tlaib on backing a bill to end federal prisons: To what extent have you wrestled w/ potential downsides?
Tlaib: I think everyone's like, oh my god, we're going to just release everybody.
Swan: But the act you endorsed actually says release everyone pic.twitter.com/ZBX3T9wxQy

This is what happens when these radicals are asked direct questions persistently.
She knows it’s an insane proposal to call for the release of every single federal prisoner, which is why she won’t own it.
But it’s really a dishonest game that the Left are playing.
They claim to be in favor of prison abolition, but they’re in favor of “rehabilitation” camps.
Honest communists will even defend the Soviet gulags.
Communist activist and half-baked intellectual Angela Davis has advocated for prison abolition for decades, yet when she toured the Eastern bloc in the 1970s, she had no objections to the gulags because the inhabitants had committed crimes against the state.
If Tlaib had her druthers, she would lock up Kyle Rittenhouse and throw away the key.
Many leftists have even said exactly that.

When leftists say they want to defund the police and abolish prisons, they simply mean that they want to be in control of the security forces that replace the old institutions.
Tlaib would have “white supremacists” breaking rocks in a work camp tomorrow if she could get away with it.
