Michael Savage Named the Exact Law That Could Deport NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani

Bernie Sanders spent thirty years selling America's young people on the idea that socialism is just Denmark with better healthcare.

Now one of his disciples is running New York City – and he's moving fast.

Michael Savage just identified the law still on the books that could end Mamdani's mayoralty before the grocery stores open.

The Communist Control Act of 1954 Is Still the Law of the Land

Congress passed the Communist Control Act in 1954 to outlaw the Communist Party and strip its members of legal standing in the United States – and it passed 79 to 0 in the Senate.

It stripped the Communist Party of legal standing and barred its members from federal employment.

More importantly, it established grounds for removing foreign nationals tied to communist-action organizations.

The law has never been repealed.

Speaking on Newsmax's Sunday Agenda, Michael Savage made the case directly: "Mamdani can be deported under the Communist Control Act of 1954. That law is still on the books from the Eisenhower era, when this country was riddled with communists."

Mamdani was born in Uganda and became a naturalized American citizen.

That distinction matters under the statute.

Mamdani's Government Grocery Stores Are Already Facing Lawsuits

Mamdani stopped debating ideology the day he took office.

He moved straight to implementation – five city-run grocery stores, one per borough, with prices slashed 30% below what private retailers charge.

A coalition of immigrant small business owners organized under the Multicultural Business Coalition and voted to take him to court.

"The mayor doesn't seem to want to sit down with us," said coalition chairman Frank Garcia.

New York landlords filed their own lawsuit after Mamdani pushed a citywide rent freeze through.

He also released a database targeting property owners for a proposed second-home tax.

Savage named the playbook: "He is enacting one step after another of the Communist Manifesto."

Bernie Sanders Created the Democratic Socialism Blueprint Mamdani Is Now Executing

Savage did not stop at Mamdani.

He traced the entire operation back to Bernie Sanders – the man who spent decades convincing Americans that Soviet bread lines were just a branding problem.

"The man behind it all is Bernie Sanders," Savage said. "He created all of these monsters with his big lie about democratic socialism. It's just a cover for communism."

Savage's July 4th video – shared by President Trump on Truth Social – went further: "Right now, we have open Marxists in high places in America. Every one of them must be criminalized and deported."

Trump boosted the message weeks before Savage repeated the call on Newsmax.

The president has not acted yet. But he has flagged the same concern – warning publicly about a communist takeover of the Democrat Party as socialist candidates swept primary races across the country in 2026.

Every Country That Tried Government Grocery Stores Ended Up With Bread Lines

Savage reached back two thousand years to explain where Mamdani is headed.

"He's acting like the Greek mythological figure Icarus," Savage said. "Icarus was a young man who thought he was great and could fly to the sun. He collected bird feathers and put wax on the feathers and made wooden wings. He started flying to the sun. The closer he got to the sun, the hotter the air got. Eventually, the wax melted, the feathers fell off his fake wings, and he crashed to Earth."

Then: "Let us pray that Mamdani's wax will melt, and he will eventually fall to Earth."

The history backs him up.

Government-run grocery stores have been tried before – in the Soviet Union, in Castro's Cuba, in Maduro's Venezuela.

The result is always the same: empty shelves, dependent citizens, and a government that controls who eats.

New York City already proved it can’t run public housing, schools, or hospitals.

Now the same city government wants to be the grocer.

Americans who lived through the Cold War built the Communist Control Act of 1954 because they understood what happens when Marxists reach positions of real power.

The question is whether anyone in Washington has the spine to use it – before New York becomes the test case the rest of America has to survive.

Eisenhower's generation answered that question in 1954. It's past time this one did the same.
