Democrats have spent two years fighting every attempt to put a citizenship requirement on voter registration.
Now Kamala Harris is back, targeting the SAVE America Act – Trump's push to require proof of citizenship at the ballot box.
John Kennedy just reminded her what the rest of America already knows.
Kennedy Calls Harris Irrelevant After Her SAVE America Act Attack
Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana laid out the Democrat Party's increasingly radical agenda as socialists take it over during an appearance on Fox News.
"The people now in charge of the Democrat Party want to beat the crap out of America," Kennedy said. "Get rid of all the millionaires – tax them into oblivion – open the borders, open the prisons, defund the police, defund ICE. Every single one of them knows the words by heart to the Cuba national anthem."
Then Kamala Harris's name came up.
She had posted a video attacking the SAVE America Act – Trump's signature election integrity legislation requiring proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections.
Kennedy did not flinch.
"No disrespect, but Vice President Harris is no longer relevant. She had a shot and she missed. She can cozy up to the Lulu Lenins all she wants to, but she has me confused with somebody who cares what she thinks."
Harris spent over a billion dollars. She had every advantage Joe Biden's incumbent machine could buy. She lost the popular vote, the Electoral College, and every swing state.
Harris Wants to Abolish the Electoral College and Pack the Supreme Court
The week before Kennedy dropped his verdict, Harris appeared at the National Urban League Conference in Nashville.
She did not talk about why she lost. She talked about why the system that beat her needs to be destroyed.
Harris called for abolishing the Electoral College, packing the Supreme Court from nine justices to thirteen, and granting Puerto Rico statehood.
None of these appeared in her 2024 platform.
This was not a policy evolution. It was a tantrum dressed as a platform.
The Washington Examiner revealed Harris has been quietly meeting with New York City's socialist mayor Zohran Mamdani – a Democrat Socialist of America member – for months.
Mamdani's organization recently published a new platform that makes Bernie Sanders look like a Chamber of Commerce Republican.
Harris lost in a landslide because she’s an out of touch far Left radical from California. She’s doubling down on her losing strategy from 2024 with another Presidential run looming.
The Democrat Party Now Runs on Open Borders and Socialism
Kennedy has not been quiet about what the Democrat Party has become.
In June, he called the party's socialist wing "Bolsheviks" who are "stone-cold crazy."
In July, he sharpened the indictment: "The Graham Platner wing of the Democrat Party hates George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, Dr. Seuss, Mr. Potato Head and our free enterprise system. But they sure love taking your money and your freedom."
Last week, he went further still: "These folks have contempt for America when they should have gratitude. They wanna open the prisons, open the border, defund the police, defund ICE, abolish Thanksgiving, a government-run economy. The American people aren't gonna support that kind of nonsense."
Kennedy understands something the mainstream media refuses to print.
Harris is not a moderate who drifted Left. She is a left-wing politician who spent one campaign pretending to be something she was not – and still lost by miles.
The Lulu Lenins are not fringe characters pulling her off course. They are the course.
A Morning Consult poll released this year showed Harris leading the 2028 Democrat primary field at 36 percent. Her closest competitor, Pete Buttigieg, stood at 10. The party is not rejecting her. The party is following her.
Kennedy was not just dismissing one failed candidate. He was describing the party she now leads.
The Democrat Party has chosen its direction – open borders, packed courts, a dismantled Electoral College, and socialism with better branding.
John Kennedy looked at all of it and said exactly what 75 million Americans were thinking.
