Joe Biden got caught red-handed telling one huge lie about soaring gas prices

Joe Biden declared war on American energy production on his very first day in office.

But Biden still blames everyone but himself for high gas prices.

And now Joe Biden got caught red-handed telling one huge lie about soaring gas prices.

Inflation has skyrocketed to 40-year highs since President Joe Biden and Democrats took control of the federal government.

President Biden refuses to accept any responsibility for skyrocketing inflation.

He previously blamed all-time high gas prices on Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, and greedy American oil executives.

But during a White House event on Monday about higher costs facing American consumers, Joe Biden embarrassed himself with his most outrageous claim about gas prices yet.

“We’ve made historic progress,” Biden said of gas prices. “We’ve made historic progress with the price of gas down $1.30 since the beginning of the summer.”

President Biden tried to blame the problem on gas station owners and demanded they lower their prices.

“Do it now,” Biden said to gas station owners. “Do it now. Not a month from now. Do it now.”

After once again sounding like a left-wing, authoritarian tyrant, President Biden then told a huge lie about gas prices.

“In some states, it’s below three bucks,” Biden said about the price of a gallon of gas. “It’s in the low three’s in other places.”

However, according to AAA gas price averages by state, as of September 27, not one state in America has an average gas price below $3 per gallon.

Mississippi has the lowest average price per gallon in the country at $3.07.

This is the second time in one week Biden told the same lie about gas prices.

During a Democrat National Committee (DNC) event, Biden claimed the average price of a gallon of gas was less than $2.99 in 41 states, plus Washington, D.C.

“Gas prices – I know I got criticized for going into the stockpile,” Biden said. “But guess what? Gas prices are down, $1.30 a gallon. And in 41 states plus the District of Columbia, the average gasoline price is less than $2.99.”

Biden also made an inaccurate claim about the unemployment rate, arguing it was at its lowest point in 50 years.

But Joe Biden’s claim was so outrageous that even left-wing CNN fact-checked him on it.

“The 3.7% unemployment rate is low by historical standards, but it’s not the lowest in 50 years or in more than 50 years,” CNN pointed out in its fact-check. “In fact, the monthly rate was lower than 3.7% – either 3.6% or 3.5% – nine times in 2019 and early 2020, during former President Donald Trump’s tenure, plus five times during Biden’s own Presidency.”

The Midterm elections are less than six weeks out.

Polls show the economy and inflation are the top issues facing voters.

They also show that the majority of voters blame Joe Biden for the recession and inflation.

That’s why Joe Biden is doing everything he can to try and distract voters from his failures before November.
