Democrats’ attacks against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis are ramping up.
That doesn’t end up working out for the Left.
And Democrats are groaning after this attack on Ron DeSantis backfired in spectacular fashion.
Governor Ron DeSantis is in the crosshairs of Democrats after a historic session in the Florida state legislature delivered one conservative win after another.
The NAACP decided to lash out at Governor DeSantis, issuing a travel advisory warning black people not to visit the Sunshine State.
“Florida is openly hostile toward African Americans, people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals,” a statement from the NAACP read. “Before traveling to Florida, please understand that the state of Florida devalues and marginalizes the contributions of, and the challenges faced by African Americans and other communities of color.”
The radical left-wing organization attacked DeSantis for rejecting an Advanced Placement African American History course offered by the College Board that was chalked full of woke indoctrination, like Critical Race Theory, revisionist history, and radical gender ideology.
Democrats falsely claimed that rooting out wokeness in government schools was somehow erasing black history.
The NAACP said the advisory was issued “in direct response to Governor Ron DeSantis’ aggressive attempts to erase Black history and to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in Florida schools.”
The attack completely collapsed when it was revealed that NAACP Chairman Leon Russell actually lives in Florida.
Florida GOP Chairman Christian Ziegler called Russell’s bluff and offered to help him move out of the state.
“The CHAIRMAN of the @NAACP lives in Tampa, FLORIDA!” Ziegler said on social media. “True leadership is being willing to do what you ask others to do … time to step up and MOVE. If you think our state is so bad, the @FloridaGOP will help with moving costs.”

The NAACP’s Chairman doesn’t even believe the nonsense his group, and other left-wing groups like it, are putting out.
The organization was looking to land a cheap shot on Governor DeSantis, but didn’t take into account that some quick research would reveal their hypocrisy.
The NAACP first proposed the travel advisory back in March, and the Florida Governor called it a “joke.”
“This is a stunt to try to do that,” DeSantis said at the time. “It’s a pure stunt. And fine, if you want to waste your time on a stunt, that’s fine. But I’m not wasting my time on your stunts. I’m going to make sure that we’re getting things done here.”
The hypocrisy was a flashback to the pandemic when numerous Democrat politicians, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, bashed DeSantis for keeping the state open, but were caught secretly vacationing in the Sunshine State.
Of course, the NAACP’s travel advisory is made even more ridiculous by the fact that Florida leads the nation in the number of black-owned businesses.
The NAACP inadvertently set out to harm black businesses to carry out a grudge against one of Democrats’ top political opponents.
Democrats keep stepping on rakes with their unsuccessful attacks against Ron DeSantis.
