How ABC News Buried the Biden Cognitive Decline Story
Former ABC News reporter Terry Moran traveled with Biden to Japan in the spring of 2023.
He watched the president up close – and what he saw alarmed him.
"He looked like he'd blow away in a stiff wind," Moran told The Daily Beast podcast.
By late 2023, Biden's voice had faded to what Moran described as a whisper.
Moran pitched a story.
He wrote the email carefully, telling his editors Biden's declining health was "a legit issue for Americans to be interested in."
"I tried to do the story of Biden's health before anybody else did in network, because I'd seen it," Moran said. "And I got shut down very hard."
ABC News leadership told him the story wasn't his to pursue.
Biden's condition was "the medical unit's business, not yours."

ABC News Media Bias Ran Deeper Than One Cover-Up
The Biden health story was not the first time ABC News buried a story to protect a Democrat narrative.
Just last month, Moran revealed that ABC News gutted his 2021 investigation into the COVID-19 lab leak theory – hours before it was set to air – after the script was reportedly reviewed by Anthony Fauci himself.
Moran said the edited version that came back was "incomprehensible" – and that he had never been angrier in 28 years at the network.
His piece had broken news that the Wuhan Institute of Virology received Chinese military funding, despite the Chinese government's denials.
Dr. Anthony Fauci's team reviewed the script, ABC gutted it, and the story that could have changed the national debate on COVID origins never aired in the form Moran reported it.
ABC executives didn't just fail their audience – they made an active decision to protect Democrat Party narratives on two of the defining stories of the last decade.

Jake Tapper Admitted the Media Cover-Up — Now ABC Faces the Same Question
Jake Tapper moderated the June 2024 debate where Biden's collapse played out on national television.
Then Biden's own debate performance ended his presidency – and Tapper had a book deal within months.

Tapper admitted the press corps – himself included – gave Biden's health "not enough" coverage.
Megyn Kelly called it willful blindness during Tapper's press tour, and Tapper acknowledged the criticism was "tough and fair."
The mainstream media called conservatives liars for three years for saying exactly what Terry Moran tried to say inside ABC News in 2023.
Psychotherapist Jonathan Alpert, speaking to Fox News Digital about the Moran revelations, identified what ABC was actually doing: "Sometimes it's easier not to look too closely and that seems to be exactly what ABC was doing."
He continued: "The wider that gap gets between what the public thinks is obvious and what an institution is willing to acknowledge, the more people start wondering whether they're getting the whole story."
What the Biden Health Cover-Up Cost Every American Voter
ABC News had a correspondent in Japan watching Biden up close – and told him to put down his pen.
American voters went into the 2024 election with a press corps that had made a deliberate institutional choice to protect Biden from scrutiny.
Moran raised the alarm inside ABC 18 months before that debate – 18 months during which the network sat on what its own reporter had witnessed firsthand.
"We all know what we know when we see people fading," Moran said in his pitch email to ABC editors. "We all have had grandparents. We're all getting old ourselves. And so there's no doubt about it, this is a legitimate concern for the voters of America."
ABC's answer was to tell him it wasn't his story to cover.
Moran is speaking now because ABC fired him for criticizing Trump on social media, leaving him with no career left to protect.
ABC News has built a record – lab leak buried, Biden health buried – of spiking stories that threatened Democrat narratives while calling the people who reported those stories accurately liars and partisans.
ABC News still hasn't answered for any of it.
