Biden cut the federal department that catches Medicare fraud from 80 people down to six.
Foreign governments noticed immediately.
What they built inside a single South Florida hotel while nobody was watching will make your blood boil.
How a Durable Medical Equipment Fraud Ring Took Over an Entire Florida Hotel
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. revealed this week that his team found a single hotel in South Florida where every one of its 129 rooms was registered as a separate durable medical equipment company.
None of them sold anything.
They just had lists of patients – real Medicare beneficiaries – and billed the federal government for wheelchairs and knee braces that never left a warehouse, because there was no warehouse.
"There are two times the number of durable medical equipment companies in South Florida as there are McDonald's," Kennedy said on the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show. "Most of them don't sell anything. They're just there to steal from the federal government."
Dr. Mehmet Oz, who runs the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, went further.
He says Cuban nationals were billing Medicare up to $5 million per month for equipment that was never delivered – then fleeing back to Cuba with the cash before investigators could act.
"We try to go after the money. It's already gone. It's been shipped overseas," Oz said.
This isn't new to South Florida. Federal prosecutors had already documented a network of 85 fake medical equipment companies tied to Cuban exiles who bilked Medicare before disappearing.
Cuban national Ariel Núñez Finalet was convicted in Miami for his role in one of those schemes.
Cuban national Julian Lopez sold stolen Medicare beneficiary information to a sham company that billed the federal government for more than $3.2 million in orthotic braces nobody ever received.
The Cuban government called Kennedy's accusations "libel" – which is the exact thing you'd say if the accusations were true and you were hoping nobody looked too hard.
Biden Gutted the Medicare Fraud Watchdog From 80 People Down to Six
Biden's HHS didn't just fail to catch the fraud.
Biden's HHS actively dismantled the department assigned to stop it.
Kennedy revealed that the Program Integrity Department was slashed from 80 employees down to just six people covering all 50 states and six territories.
Six people.
To watch over $1 trillion in Medicare and Medicaid spending across an entire country.
That's not a budget cut. That's an invitation.
And the fraudsters didn't miss it.
The Medicaid Fraud Map Runs From South Florida to Minnesota to Los Angeles
Oz isn't only tracking Cuba.
He believes Russian and Chinese government networks are running identical operations in New York and Los Angeles.
"We believe that many of them are created by the Russian mafia. In fact, when you try to bust these folks, sometimes foreign nationals run back to their own country," Oz told Fox News.
In Flushing, New York, Oz says the Chinese government is involved in hospice fraud.
In Los Angeles, Oz alleged roughly $3.5 billion in hospice and home care fraud – with the Russian-Armenian mafia running a significant piece of it.
And in Minnesota, federal prosecutors say upward of $9 billion in Medicaid money was stolen across 14 programs – much of it by networks that wired cash overseas, with investigators warning that some funds likely reached the al-Qaeda-linked terror group Al-Shabaab through hawala money networks in Somalia.
Minnesota became such an easy mark that it literally attracted "fraud tourists" – two Philadelphia men who traveled to the state, enrolled in a housing assistance program they had no connection to, and submitted $3.5 million in fraudulent claims from their couch in Pennsylvania.
"It's staggering, industrial-scale fraud," the assistant U.S. attorney said at a December press conference.
Tim Walz, who ran Minnesota while all of this was happening, has since dropped out of the governor's race.
The pattern is identical from Miami to Minneapolis to Los Angeles – foreign networks find taxpayer-funded programs with weak oversight, set up dozens of fake companies, bill the government for services never rendered, and wire the money out of the country before anyone notices.
Biden built the perfect environment for every bit of it – gutting the watchdogs, ignoring the warnings, and threatening anyone who complained with accusations of racism.
Trump and Kennedy are now running a real-time fraud detection system called CRUSH, imposing nationwide moratoriums on new durable medical equipment approvals, and conducting raids in South Florida.
The Cuban regime spent decades stealing from American taxpayers and calling it healthcare.
Trump just sent them the invoice.
