Joy Behar Told Millions of Christians That Jesus Was a Liar

Joy Behar once called hearing Jesus "a mental illness."

Now she is back – and this time her own cohost caught her lying about the Bible on live television.

What she said next has Christians across America absolutely furious.

Joy Behar Claimed Jesus Never Called Himself the Messiah

It started with Trump's Truth Social post – the one that showed him in a Jesus-like image and got deleted.

Joy Behar decided to use it to argue Trump was nothing like Christ.

Her argument: Jesus never ran around claiming to be the Messiah.

Sara Haines stopped her cold.

"That's exactly what Jesus said, 'I am the Messiah.'"

The audience laughed.

Behar did not back down.

"No, he did not," she said. "Jesus was more modest than that. Listen, I knew Jesus."

She did not know Jesus.

John 4:26 is right there in the Bible – Jesus telling a Samaritan woman at a well, directly and plainly, "I, the one speaking to you – I am he."

Mark 14:62 is right there too – Jesus standing before the high priest before his crucifixion, asked point blank if he is the Messiah, answering, "I am."

Behar had the full Bible, two cohosts, and a live studio audience telling her she was wrong.

She kept going.

Joy Behar Called Jesus Narcissistic and Would Not Back Down

Haines made the obvious point: when you actually are the Messiah, saying so is not narcissism.

Behar disagreed.

"Yes, it is," she said.

Haines pushed back again: "When you are the Messiah?"

"Yes," Behar said.

Behar was not making a theological error anymore – she was making a deliberate one.

She was arguing that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, would be narcissistic for acknowledging who he was.

That logic only works if you do not believe Jesus was who he said he was.

Which is her right.

But she didn’t say that.

She dressed up contempt for Christianity as a critique of Trump and let it sit there in front of a live audience like it was a reasonable point.

It wasn’t. Behar did what she always does – used Christianity as a punching bag while pretending the punch was aimed at someone else.

This Is Not the First Time

In 2018, Behar went on The View and called hearing Jesus when you pray a "mental illness."

The Media Research Center pushed back hard enough – more than 30,000 calls to ABC, thousands of complaints to advertisers – that she apologized on air.

That apology did not stick.

Eight years later she is back on the same show, in front of the same cameras, getting the same facts wrong about the same religion – and this time she would not walk it back even when her own cohost corrected her with chapter and verse.

That is not a slip.

That is a pattern.

The audience watching The View every morning includes millions of self-identified Christians.

Behar just told them the man they pray to every morning would be a narcissist for saying who he was.

She said it with a smirk.

This is what the Left actually thinks about Christians.

They dress it up as Trump criticism as cover.

Behar went after Trump this morning by going after Jesus – and when her own cohost corrected her with scripture, she dug in harder.

She is not confused about what the Bible says.

She just doesn’t care – and she is betting you will not push back.

Last time, 30,000 people proved her wrong.
