Tensions are running high between Prince Harry and the British royal family.

They boiled over after one painful decision.

And Prince Harry was reduced to tears after he got this brutal rejection from King Charles.

Prince Harry gets the cold shoulder from his father

Prince Harry returned to the United Kingdom to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, a sporting event for injured soldiers and veterans.

The trip was an opportunity for him to reconnect with his family.

But he never met with his brother, Prince William, or his father, King Charles, and stepmother, Queen Camilla.

Charles and Camila skipped taking part in the ceremony for the Invictus Games with Harry to attend the first garden party of the year at Buckingham Palace.

The British King and Queen attending a ceremony at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London a week after Harry held an event there is a sign, according to one British royal watcher.

British royal watcher Christopher Anderson told Fox News Digital that the trip to St. Paul’s Cathedral by Charles and Camila signals that Harry is “no longer on their radar.”

“What can one say? If Charles could get dolled up in full regalia with Camilla and make this event at St Paul’s Cathedral, he certainly could have shown up a week earlier to lend support to Harry and Invictus, or at the very least spend a few minutes with his younger son at some other place of the King’s choosing,” Anderson said.

It was announced before Harry’s trip that the King’s schedule was too full to meet with his son.

“A private meeting, however brief, would have been a major step in the right direction,” Anderson explained.

“The King and Queen Camilla have made it abundantly and repeatedly clear that Harry is no longer on their radar,” he continued. “A lot of this has to do with the fact that the senior royals are in their own bubble and to a great extent incapable of seeing the big picture.”

King Charles oversaw the Service of Dedication for the Order of the British Empire (OBE) at St. Paul’s Cathedral.

The event held once every four years honors various contributions to society.

King Charles appoints Prince William to role that was seen as Harry’s

King Charles appointed Prince William to be the Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps.

Prince Harry served in the Army Air Corps during his second tour in Afghanistan as part of a helicopter crew with the British Royal Army.

He was expected to receive the honor before he stepped away from his role in the family to move to America with his wife, Meghan Markle.

Anderson said that giving the title to William was a “calculated” move by the King.

“If there were any doubts that Harry is dead to his father and brother, then this one-two punch from King Charles should dispel them once and for all,” Anderson said. “By announcing that he was too busy to see Harry, even though the two men are just two miles apart, and then officially giving Harry’s colonel-in-chief of the Army Air Corps title to William – one of the honorary military titles Harry cherished most – the king is slamming the door in Harry’s face.”

“This was a calculated, even cruel snub,” he continued. “Under other circumstances, I would have chalked it up to the fatal tone-deafness that the palace is so famous for. But the king could easily have carved out time to see Harry, and the announcement giving Harry’s old title to William didn’t have to happen just as Harry arrived in London. This was all very deliberate and very petty – and very personal.”

Prince Harry has a long way to go to repair the bridges he burned with his family.
