That man is now outspending Ken Paxton on Texas television by a margin of 200 to 1.
And John Kennedy went on Fox News and admitted the one thing that explains how this happened.
The NRSC Has Zero Dollars for Paxton While Talarico Floods the Texas Senate Race With Cash
The National Republican Senatorial Committee – the Senate GOP's campaign arm – has not budgeted a single dollar for the Texas Senate race.
Louisiana Senator John Kennedy put it on the record during Fox News' The Sunday Briefing.
"We in the Senate don't have the money budgeted for Texas," Kennedy said. "We need help from the President."
"But in the meantime, we've got a race, and I'm not going to play-act and say that we don't."
The same Republican establishment that spent over $120 million trying to eliminate Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in the primary has now left him to fight the general election alone.
Cornyn-aligned groups poured tens of millions into attack ads against the Trump-endorsed attorney general during the primary.
Paxton won the May runoff anyway.
Now RINO Texas Senator John Cornyn says he will use his fundraising pull to help Republican senators in other states – not Texas.
The cost of that establishment exit is staggering.
Paxton's campaign spent approximately $150,000 on ads during the same stretch Talarico was flooding Texas airwaves with Democrat money.
Through June 30, FEC filings put Talarico's cash on hand at roughly $21.5 million. Paxton's campaign had approximately $1.8 million.
Since June, Democrats have poured roughly $31.5 million into Texas advertising against the Republican field's $4.7 million – with Talarico driving the bulk of that gap.

James Talarico Says God Is Non-Binary and ICE Is a Secret Police Force
James Talarico is not a moderate Democrat making a play for the Texas center.
The state representative and Presbyterian seminarian has publicly declared God to be non-binary.
His stance on abortion: the Bible, in his view, is silent on it.
He calls ICE – the agency removing criminal illegal aliens from American communities – a "secret police force."
Kennedy's alarm on Fox was direct.
"The President says he has $850 million in his campaign accounts," Kennedy said. "That's a lot of jack. I'm hoping that the president's gonna spend $100 or $200 million in Texas. But he hasn't committed to it yet."
Trump traveled to Houston for an RNC fundraiser aimed at helping Paxton build a war chest.
"We're trying to get help from all over the country," Paxton told Fox News.
The Cook Political Report has rated the contest a toss-up – the first time it has assigned that label to a Texas Senate race since Ted Cruz held off Beto O'Rourke by 2.6 points in 2018.
That race consumed over $100 million.
This one is on track to cost far more.
The RINO establishment ran the play it always runs against Trump-backed candidates.
Spend heavily to destroy the MAGA nominee in the primary and drain the donor class doing it. Then declare the general election a funding problem they cannot solve.
Blake Masters watched the same script play out in Arizona in 2022, when the Senate Leadership Fund quietly withdrew its advertising budget in the final stretch of a winnable race.
The SLF has announced a record $500 million war chest for 2026 Senate races.
Texas is not on its spending list.
Trump's super PAC, MAGA Inc., is sitting on over $400 million. Not one dollar of it has hit Texas airwaves.
The only figure who can save Ken Paxton is sitting at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with $850 million at his disposal.
John Kennedy made the ask publicly, on national television, without blinking.
Paxton is one point ahead in the polls and one major Trump investment away from holding a Senate seat that nobody thought was in play six months ago.
The question is whether Trump writes the check before the Democrat who called ICE a secret police force locks up Texas.
