Jim Jordan Issued a Warning About What Happens if Democrats Win the Midterms

Republicans have two months to stop Democrats from taking back Congress and erasing everything Trump built.

Jim Jordan just sat down with Greta Van Susteren in Dallas and the Left is not going to like what he said.

Jordan told Greta exactly what Democrats have planned for America if they win in November.

Jim Jordan at Dallas Convention: Republicans Secured the Border and Passed the Largest Tax Cut Ever

Jim Jordan appeared on On the Record with Greta Van Susteren from the Republican midterm convention in Dallas and laid out what Republicans have delivered since 2024.

"We said we were going to secure the border. We did," Jordan said.

The largest tax cut in American history is law.

"We said we're going to cut Americans' taxes. We did the largest tax cut ever."

Jordan acknowledged that grocery and gas prices are still squeezing families.

"I get that," he said. "I understand that things cost too much, and that's a real concern."

Admitting a problem exists is very different from handing power back to the party that created it.

Jordan's case to voters is direct: Republicans kept their promises, and Democrats cannot say the same.

The record goes beyond the border and the tax cut.

For the first time in American history, the tax code includes a school choice component.

Work requirements for able-bodied adults on welfare are back.

Jordan ticked through each one at the Republican Jewish Coalition summit two weeks ago and made the same argument he made in Dallas – Republicans did what they said they would do, and the voters know it.

Jordan Warns a Democrat Win in the 2026 Midterm Elections Would Reverse Everything

Jordan came to Dallas with a warning, not a victory lap.

"We have to remind the voters what's at stake in this election and where the Left will take our country if they win," he said.

He was not vague about what that looks like – open borders, defunded police, and a nuclear-armed Iran that Democrats would negotiate with rather than confront.

"You cannot let them get a nuclear weapon," Jordan said. "We cannot let them get a nuclear weapon."

Jordan also flagged that President Trump plans to campaign hard in Ohio for Sen. Jon Husted, who is defending the Senate seat JD Vance vacated when he became Vice President.

"President Trump, I think, will come to Ohio, and I believe, help turn out Trump voters for Sen. Husted," Jordan said.

Trump carried Ohio in 2016, 2020, and 2024, and plans to run tele-town halls there as he has in every election cycle since entering politics.

Senator Jon Husted needs those voters – former Sen. Sherrod Brown is back, the race is rated a toss-up, and Brown is trying to pin the inflation that he and Biden created on Husted.

Brown held that Senate seat for eighteen years before losing it in 2024.

He knows Ohio, he knows how to run on kitchen-table costs, and he is already hitting Husted on prices for groceries, beef, and coffee.

A Brown win in Ohio would go a long way toward flipping the Senate.

How Democrats Plan to Undo Border Security and Tax Cuts if They Win in November

The party that opened the southern border to millions of illegal aliens now wants independent voters to forget it ever happened.

Democrats who pushed trillion-dollar spending bills that stoked the worst inflation in forty years want to campaign on affordability.

Biden's DOJ spent years trying to prosecute a former president through simultaneous criminal cases – and his special counsel secretly subpoenaed the phone records of more than forty Republican members of Congress while doing it.

Now those same Democrats want to run as the party of democracy.

Jordan spent two years on the House Judiciary Committee putting that record in front of the American people, and the math heading into November is stark.

In eighteen of the last twenty midterm elections, the president's party lost House seats.

Republicans currently hold a razor-thin majority – Democrats need a net gain of four seats to retake the House and hand Nancy Pelosi's caucus the gavel back.

The midterms are a choice, not a referendum, and Republicans have a record that wins that choice every time they make voters actually confront it.

"We have to remind the independent voters of what the Left is all about," Jordan said.

The conservatives who already know are going to show up.

The question is whether Republicans spend the next eight weeks making sure everyone else remembers too.
