Democrats’ new scheme for dealing with the drug epidemic will leave you completely dumbfounded

Drug abuse has exploded all across the nation, with deadly drugs proliferating into nearly every community.

Drugs like fentanyl, meth, and heroin have brought some communities to their knees with people dying off in droves from overdoses and other drug-related deaths. 

And Democrats’ new scheme for dealing with the drug epidemic will leave you completely dumbfounded.

This Mayor’s plan will cause drug use to increase even further

Over the last four years, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have left America’s borders wide-open, allowing millions of illegal aliens to pour across. 

Not only have millions of illegal aliens poured into America under their watch, but massive amounts of drugs and other contraband have flowed into America as well.

Deadly and highly-addictive drugs, such as fentanyl and meth, have infested nearly every community in America, destroying lives and families regularly. 

Rather than trying to get these drugs off the streets and hold drug dealers accountable for putting them in the hands of vulnerable people, Democrats have instead made it easier than ever to use drugs. 

In Baltimore, for example, 40-year-old Mayor Brandon Scott recently voiced his support for a measure that would establish a “supervised drug injection site” in the city, which he believes will reduce overdose deaths. 

At a press conference, Brandon Scott discussed the prospect of opening safe use zones across the city, telling Baltimore residents, “In order for us to get people the treatment that they need — and when they’re ready for it — and to get them into the places and spaces they need, the first thing they have to do is be alive.”

He added, “These public health-based approaches that have worked in countries all over the world and are now working in places like New York should be brought here.”

However, Brandon Scott failed to provide any evidence to back up his claims that allowing people to use deadly drugs helps to prevent drug related deaths. 

As he noted, other cities have dabbled with these sorts of “woke” policies, with little to no benefit. 

In many Democrat-controlled parts of America, lawmakers have approved policies that decrease punishments for drug use, which has resulted in an explosion of drug use all across the nation. 

Oregon, for example, passed a measure that effectively legalized all drugs, only to reverse course after the law facilitated a major uptick in crime, drug use, and overdose deaths. 

Baltimore’s bold drug strategy could be a disaster for the already struggling city

The city of Baltimore has declined rapidly in recent years due to an increase in crime, homelessness and drug use. 

Rather than address these plagues, woke Democrats like Brandon Scott are more interested in making it easier than ever to use deadly and highly addictive drugs. 

If Baltimore authorizes this policy, then many fear that it could make the city even more dangerous, forcing law -abiding citizens and business owners to flee to safer parts of the country.
