Adam Schiff Said He Welcomes the Socialists Taking Over the Democrat Party and Forgot One Thing

DSA co-chair Megan Romer told Fox News her party wants to abolish the Senate, ICE, and America's prisons.

One-third of Democrats told CNN pollsters they identify with her movement.

And CNN’s Erin Burnett walked Adam Schiff into one trap on socialism.

DSA Co-Chair Megan Romer Confirms the Entire Platform on Live TV

Democrat Socialists of America co-chair Megan Romer didn’t flinch when Fox News host Shannon Bream walked her through the DSA platform item by item last Sunday.

Bream asked about abolishing the Senate, replacing the presidency and Supreme Court, abolishing ICE, eliminating national borders, granting blanket amnesty to every illegal alien currently in the country, defunding the Pentagon, and shutting down America's prisons.

Romer said yes to every item on the list.

She also confirmed the DSA's goal of shifting most large American corporations into government ownership.

The interview aired on Fox News Sunday and went viral on X with millions of views almost immediately.

Longtime Democrat incumbents in New York and Denver have already lost their seats to DSA challengers – a five-term congressman and a 30-year incumbent replaced by hard-left socialists who ran on the same platform Romer confirmed on live television.

DSA-aligned candidates will expand their footprint in Congress after November, and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has already become the national face of the movement.

Sen. John Fetterman was one of the only Democrats willing to say what the Romer interview meant.

"This isn't a big tent – it's anarchy," he wrote on X. "Why can't Dems call out the DSA?"

CNN Poll Finds One Third of the Democrat Party Now Identifies as Democratic Socialists

A new CNN poll answered Fetterman's question with brutal clarity.

About 34 percent of Democrats and Democrat-leaning adults now identify as socialist Democrats – a structural third of the entire party, not a campus fringe.

These voters are the most energized members of the Democrat coalition heading into the midterms.

Among registered voters, 66 percent of socialist Democrats say they are extremely motivated to vote this year – nine points higher than non-socialist Democrats in the same party.

They are pushing for new leadership, younger candidates, and a harder Left turn on every major policy question.

This radicalization cycle has played out before – in every socialist surge in American history, from the 1930s through Bernie Sanders' back-to-back primary runs.

The McGovern coalition swallowed the Democrat Party in 1972, handed Richard Nixon 49 states, and party leaders spent a decade trying to explain what happened.

That is exactly where the Democrat Party stands right now.

And the man who spent years lecturing America about threats to democracy just looked into a CNN camera and gave it his blessing.

Adam Schiff Tells CNN He Is Fine With the Socialist Takeover Heading Into the 2026 Midterms

CNN host Erin Burnett gave Adam Schiff the numbers – a third of his own party now calls itself socialist, nearly 60 percent of them under 45.

Burnett asked him point-blank whether he accepted that this is where his party is going and whether he was good with it.

Schiff's answer should be required viewing for every Republican running this fall.

"I would rather be in that big tent in the majority than be a smaller party that is stuck forever in the minority," he told Burnett – while also conceding in the same breath that the DSA's own bylaws are "pretty extreme."

There is one problem with that answer.

Democrats are not in the majority.

They lost the White House, the Senate, and the House in 2024 – and the leftward sprint Schiff is endorsing is precisely why working-class voters and independents keep walking away from his party.

A majority of all American voters – 51 percent – now say socialism has no beneficial beliefs at all.

Schiff is welcoming the movement that wants to abolish the Senate, defund the military, empty prisons, and seize private businesses – and calling it the path back to power.

Democrats lost big in 2024 because voters soundly rejected Kamala Harris’ far-left agenda.

They are not going to win it back running on Megan Romer's platform.

Republicans need to play that Fox News Sunday interview on every screen in every competitive district between now and November – because the Democrat Party just told every voter in America exactly who it is, and Adam Schiff is nodding right along.
