RINO traitors in the Senate are looking to hand Joe Biden a massive victory.
Biden wants to gut American freedom.
And one RINO sellout left Joe Biden grinning from ear to ear with this surrender on guns.
Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) is running point on the biggest Republican sellout Americans have seen on the Second Amendment in decades.
Senator Cornyn is working with gun grabbing Democrats like Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) – whose only goal is banning and confiscating every single gun in America – on a scheme to expand a national gun registration database.
In multiple instances on Monday, the RINO Cornyn sounded optimistic that enough weak-kneed Republicans would support Democrats’ efforts to chip away at the Second Amendment.
“We have to be realistic about what can pass both chambers of Congress and get the president’s signature,” Cornyn declared during a speech on the Senate floor. “And we know it’s not easy … I want to be clear, we’re not talking about restricting the rights of law-abiding gun owners or citizens.”
But Senator Cornyn is not telling the truth when he claims this latest gun grab will not affect the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Americans.
In fact, this “compromise” from Cornyn will also include dangerous red flag confiscation laws.
Red flag confiscation laws allow gun grabbers to find friendly judges and use out of context or baseless claims to obtain court orders that allow law enforcement to storm American’s homes and seize their firearms without due process.
Even with Democrats proposing legislation that is the first step towards a national ban and the confiscation of every gun in America, Cornyn sounded optimistic he could wrangle at least 10 Republicans to vote for the biggest betrayal of one of the conservative base’s most fundamental values.
“I’m optimistic we can get 60-plus votes,” Cornyn claimed. “But the question is what that package looks like. And that’s what we’re in the process of doing is figuring out what the package will look like and how do we get to 60-plus. But I think … where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
Senator John Cornyn would like to one day succeed Mitch McConnell as Republicans’ leader in the Senate.
But selling out the GOP base on gun rights simply shows that as the top “Republican” in the Senate, Cornyn would essentially function as nothing more than the 51st Democrat vote.
