The Biden administration handed illegal aliens government prepaid debit cards while American veterans waited months for VA appointments.
Boston just found a more infuriating way to spend taxpayer money on illegal aliens.
Mayor Michelle Wu just spent $100,000 in taxpayer money training illegal aliens in the same skill Barack Obama used to seize power.
Boston's Sanctuary City Spent $100,000 in Taxpayer Money on an Illegal Alien Activist Program
The program is called Immigrants Lead Boston.
Run through Democrat Boston Mayor Michelle Wu's Office for Immigrant Advancement, it trains what the city calls "emerging immigrant leaders" in community organizing, coalition building, and how to lobby city officials.
Boston pays participants $575 cash at the end of the 10-week course – but only if they finish it.
Illegal aliens are welcome. Native-born citizens are not.
The city's own eligibility language states: "Interested applicants are encouraged to apply regardless of their immigration status."
Try showing up as a native-born Bostonian who's been paying taxes for thirty years and see how far that gets you.
Wu's FY2026 budget allocates $100,000 for up to 40 participants. The scholarships account for just $23,000 of that total – and Boston hasn't explained where the other $77,000 goes.
The city posted a formal contract solicitation for a program administrator without disclosing what the contract is worth.
The Anti-ICE Coalition Michelle Wu Hired to Turn Illegal Immigrants Into Political Organizers
Boston tapped the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition – MIRA – to co-run the 2026 cohort.
MIRA's published advocacy priorities include lobbying to strip Massachusetts police, courts, and correctional facilities of any obligation to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.
They also push for public money to fund lawyers defending illegal aliens in deportation proceedings.
Boston is running a political organizing program taught by a coalition whose explicit mission is shielding illegal immigrants from ICE – and every citizen paying for it is barred from participating.
The city's own curriculum covers the "art of politics" – power analysis, networking with officials, and coalition building.
One graduate described her mission as helping illegal immigrants get driver's licenses "regardless of immigration status." Another called what she learned "campaign and community organizing."
Boston isn't paying for community help – it's building a political operation, using illegal aliens as the raw material and tax dollars as the fuel.
Community organizing is not a neutral civic skill. It is the foundation of Democrat political power in America – the machinery that registers voters, pressures officials, and turns out the base every election cycle.
How Michelle Wu's Sanctuary City Is Using Taxpayer Grants to Expand Its Illegal Alien Organizer Network
In 2025, Wu added Community Action Project grants – organizations working with participants can request up to $10,000 each. Boston hasn't published which organizations received money or how much total was awarded.
Earlier cohorts were handed to re:power – formerly Wellstone Action, the same Democrat training machine that launched Tim Walz's political career.
Re:power ran a "train the trainer" program for 13 Immigrants Lead Boston graduates, sending them back into Boston's neighborhoods to train the next wave of illegal alien organizers.
Re:power's mission is explicit: "We must contest for power at all levels of government."
Boston taxpayers are funding that contest.
Wu stood before Congress in March 2025 and refused to say she would turn violent criminals over to ICE, then wrote to private parking garage owners urging them not to lease space to federal immigration agents. DHS said she was "hunting down private property owners."
Now she's using $100,000 to train a class of political organizers – illegal immigrants eligible, citizens locked out – to carry that fight into every neighborhood in Boston.
The city's own materials require participants to attend government meetings and file official testimony demanding more taxpayer-funded services for illegal immigrants.
That's not civic education.
That's a taxpayer-funded ground game – and the only people locked out of it are the ones footing the bill.
Democrats don't build political power by winning arguments. They manufacture organizers, fund them with your money, and plant them directly inside the machinery of city government.
Barack Obama spent three years as a community organizer on the south side of Chicago before he ever ran for office – community organizing is how the Democrat Party manufactures political power, and they have been doing it for forty years.
Wu has been running this operation since 2020, quietly expanding it every year while Boston raised taxes and kept its doors open to anyone who crossed the border.
American tax dollars trained illegal aliens to build Democrat political power – and the city made sure Americans couldn't apply.
