A new survey found that more than half of America's college students would abandon the country rather than fight for it.
Kelsey Grammer just sat down on Planet Tyrus and explained exactly how that happened – and who made it happen.
What he named as the weapon – and who built it – is something Democrats need Americans to forget.
Grammer Defends the Founding Fathers Against the Left's Classroom Smear
Kelsey Grammer came on Planet Tyrus podcast to talk about his new movie Young Washington – and ended up delivering a warning.
"If you don't know where you come from, you don't know who you are," he said. "If you don't know who you are, you can be controlled."
The 71-year-old didn't stop there.
He tore apart the Left's favorite classroom weapon – the dismissal of America's Founders as nothing more than "old White guys in wigs."
"Thomas Jefferson was 33 when he wrote what is arguably the most important political document in the history of man," Grammer said.
Jefferson invented a new kind of nation – and the Left has spent 50 years teaching a generation to be embarrassed by him.
Grammer recently starred as Lord Thomas Fairfax – mentor to a young George Washington – in Angel Studios' Young Washington, released July 3rd to mark America's 250th anniversary.
The film led him to FreedomFest in Las Vegas this month, where Grammer told The Epoch Times that America's government schools have spent decades teaching young people to see their country as a "crap country" – and that generations have accepted it because nobody corrected them.
"The greatest hope for any future wisdom in America," he told Fox News, "has already been written in the actions and words of our Founding Fathers."
"It never had anything to do with the way you looked," he said. "It had everything to do with the way you thought and the way you dreamed."
Speaker Mike Johnson made the same point this month – warning that America's students are being "indoctrinated" to see their own country through "wrong lenses."
The Civics Education Crisis Behind the 57 Percent Who Would Flee America
The Left hasn't just mocked the Founders – they've made sure the next generation never learns about them.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation found 58% of Americans fail a basic civics test – a quiz covering the three branches of government and how many justices sit on the Supreme Court.
Only 22% of eighth graders scored proficient on the most recent national civics assessment, while 31% scored below basic.
The American Council of Trustees and Alumni surveyed more than 3,000 college students and found only 31% knew James Madison was the Father of the Constitution.
The Gettysburg Address stumped most of them too – just 23% could identify Lincoln's most famous phrase.
One number should stop every American cold.
The same organization found 57% of college students said they would flee the country if Russia invaded – rather than stay and fight.
A Cato Institute poll found barely half of Gen Z views the Founding Fathers as courageous leaders – and more than a quarter believes they declared independence mainly to enrich themselves.
A generation that doesn't know its history doesn't love its country enough to defend it.
That is not an accident.

Ronald Reagan left a warning in his Farewell Address nearly 40 years ago.
"More attention to American history and a greater emphasis on civic ritual," Reagan urged, warning that losing that thread would cost the country its identity.
The Left engineered erasure inside America's classrooms – one school year at a time.
An 18-year-old who can't name the Father of the Constitution won't defend the Constitution – and Randi Weingarten has always known exactly what she was doing.
The American Federation of Teachers championed the curriculum rewrites that pushed the Founders out of government school classrooms and replaced them with grievance politics.
Grammer says he's working on a project to fix it, and he's not waiting for politicians to act.
"Some of their children were murdered, some of their wives were raped," Grammer said – speaking of the 56 men who put their names on the Declaration, most of whom "ended in ruin." "They would probably do it again. I think that sort of character is what still is in most of us."
He's right.
But only if someone tells the next generation what they're supposed to be defending.
