Ivanka Trump Just Revealed What She Was Doing the Moment Her Father Got Shot in Butler

A gunman put a bullet through the ear of the next President of the United States in July 2024.

Now his daughter just went on record about exactly where she was and what she did in those first terrifying seconds.

What she did in the next ten seconds is something no mother should ever have to do.

Ivanka Watched the Butler Pennsylvania Shooting in Real Time

Ivanka was at Trump Bedminster in New Jersey when the shooting started.

The televisions near the pool were on.

Two of her children were right there.

She grabbed them and pulled them away before Trump had stood back up.

"It was incredibly difficult," she told The Diary of a CEO host Steven Bartlett, her voice breaking as she recalled the moment.

She knew – in that moment, with the chaos unfolding live on television – that her father was going to survive.

"I just knew that it wasn't his time," she said.

She saw him that same night when he returned to Bedminster from the hospital.

Ryan Routh Got Life in Prison and Democrats Are Still Normalizing Political Violence

Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire on Trump at Butler on July 13, 2024 – grazing his ear, killing Corey Comperatore, and nearly changing the course of American history.

Crooks was neutralized immediately by a Secret Service counter-sniper.

Then came Ryan Routh – who spent weeks hiding outside Trump's West Palm Beach golf course with an SKS-style rifle, waiting for a clear shot.

Secret Service agent Robert Fercano spotted him in the bushes along the fence line and fired first.

Routh was convicted on five federal counts in September 2025 and sentenced to life plus seven years in February 2026 by Judge Aileen Cannon, who called his plot "premeditated" and "evil."

Then in February 2026, a 21-year-old armed with a shotgun and a gas can walked into the Mar-a-Lago perimeter.

Secret Service shot him dead.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said it plainly on Fox News: "Two would-be assassins dead, one in jail for life – and this venom coming from the other side. They are normalizing this violence. It's got to stop."

He was right.

Democrat Rhetoric Built This Climate and They Know It

Democrats spent years calling Trump a fascist, a dictator, and a threat to democracy.

Illinois Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton just cut a Senate campaign ad with people screaming profanities at the President – the same week an armed man breached Mar-a-Lago.

This is not a coincidence.

When you spend years telling people a man is the most dangerous threat in human history, some of those people are going to act on it.

Ivanka Trump – who watched her father nearly die on live television – chose not to answer that hatred with hatred.

"In life, you have a choice only in how you respond," she said, "and I choose to see the positive outcome."

Most people will never be asked to show that kind of grace.

But grace does not mean looking away from who built the climate that keeps producing assassins.

Democrats own every single attempt on this man's life.

They stoked the rage, called it resistance, and then acted shocked when unhinged people decided the most dangerous man alive needed to be stopped.

Three times now, someone has tried to kill the President of the United States.

Three times, the Secret Service has protected him.

Ivanka Trump called her father's survival a miracle and a blessing.

She is right about that too.

But miracles should not be required to keep an American president alive – and the people manufacturing the rage that makes them necessary should be held accountable for every single attempt.
