Trump Just Revealed the Private Letter Franklin Graham Sent Him About Heaven

On Palm Sunday, millions of Americans walked into church for the start of Holy Week.

Trump opened Truth Social and posted the Gospel.

He didn't add a single word — just a letter from Franklin Graham telling him, and everyone watching, exactly how to get to heaven.

Franklin Graham Told Trump He Is Heaven Bound Through Faith in Jesus Christ

Franklin Graham wrote the letter October 15, 2025.

Trump had just told reporters aboard Air Force One something almost no sitting president would ever say out loud.

"I think I'm not, maybe, heaven-bound," Trump said. "I'm not sure I'm gonna be able to make heaven. But I've made life better for a lot of people."

Graham didn't let it go.

He opened by praising the Israel-Hamas ceasefire — the deal Trump engineered that ended two years of war in Gaza and brought home the last hostages — and called it "an answer to much prayer."

He quoted Matthew 5:9: "Blessed are the peacemakers — and Mr. President, that is what you are."

Then he got direct.

"Maybe you responded in jest," Graham wrote, "but it is an important issue to know for certain that your soul is secure and will spend eternity in the presence of God."

Good works don't buy a seat in heaven, Graham told him. Neither does fame, power, or a lifetime of achievement.

He cited Romans 10:9.

He offered assurance.

"If you accept that by faith and invite Him to come into your heart, you ARE heaven bound, I promise you."

Trump held onto that letter for five months.

He chose Palm Sunday — the first morning of Holy Week — to share it with the world.

Trump posted it without comment.

Trump Posts Franklin Graham Gospel Message to Truth Social on Palm Sunday 2026

Speaker Mike Johnson amplified it within the hour: "On this Palm Sunday, President Trump shared his letter from Franklin Graham explaining the only path to Heaven is through Jesus, our Savior."

This is what a president who represents the Christian majority in this country actually looks like.

Joe Biden spent Easter 2024 issuing a presidential proclamation for the Transgender Day of Visibility — a statement longer than his Easter message.

His press secretary defended it.

Trump's White House built a Faith Office, issued theologically precise Holy Week proclamations, and organized a week of Easter events with Franklin Graham, Pastor Greg Laurie, and Pastor Jentezen Franklin leading communion services at the White House.

Franklin Graham said of Trump's Holy Week proclamation last year: "There has not been in my lifetime a president that has communicated the gospel as clearly as he has."

Trump just amplified Graham right back — on the holiest morning of the Christian calendar, with no spin and no commentary.

Just the letter.

Franklin Graham Samaritan's Purse and the Evangelical Coalition Behind Trump

Franklin Graham is not just a famous last name.

He leads Samaritan's Purse, one of the most effective disaster relief organizations on earth — and he has the receipts.

Graham was on the ground in Israel personally dedicating armored ambulances to Magen David Adom as part of a commitment to provide 42 vehicles to a fleet decimated by the Hamas attacks.

Since the ceasefire, Samaritan's Purse has been delivering food and medical supplies into Gaza.

Graham prayed at Trump's inauguration in January 2025 — and the 82% of white evangelical Protestants who voted for Trump, the largest and most reliable block in the Republican coalition, consider him their voice in the room.

When Graham stood at CPAC and told the crowd "we'll never get another president like Donald Trump," he wasn't just being kind.

He was telling his congregation the same thing he told Trump in this letter: the stakes are eternal.

The media will call this letter "bizarre."

Several already have.

But the Americans who walked into church on Palm Sunday — and came home to find this on their feed — know exactly what Trump did.

He let Franklin Graham preach to the whole country.

And he didn't say a word.
