Biden's FBI just got caught spying on Kash Patel and Susie Wiles when both were private citizens – and Patel fired 10 agents on Wednesday over it.
Now Kristi Noem is telling America it goes even deeper than that.
And what Elon Musk's team found on her devices will make you question everything you thought you knew about who was really running DHS.
Elon Musk Found Spyware on Noem's Phone — Installed by Her Own DHS Staffers
Homeland Security Kristi Noem revealed on the PBD Podcast that DHS staffers secretly installed spyware on her government-issued phone and laptop, recording her internal meetings.
She didn't find it herself. Elon Musk did.
"They helped me identify that some of my own employees in my department had downloaded software on my phone and my laptop to spy on me, to record our meetings," Noem told host Patrick Bet-David.
It wasn't just her – "They had done that to several of the politicals," she added, meaning multiple Trump appointees across DHS had compromised devices they knew nothing about.
Every meeting Noem held. Every call she took. Every strategy session about border security, ICE operations, deportations – potentially recorded by the same people sitting across the table from her.
The spyware was only discovered after Musk's tech team swept DHS hardware. Noem said without that outside expertise, it would still be running today.
Those responsible were brought in, polygraphed, and fired.
Inside the Secret SCIF at DHS Headquarters Nobody Knew Existed
The spyware wasn't even the most stunning thing Noem found.
One of her employees walked past a door inside DHS headquarters, wondered what it was, and started asking questions.
What they found was a secret SCIF – a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility used to handle the nation's most classified material – that nobody in leadership knew existed.
People were working in it. Filing things. Running operations. Right inside Noem's own building, on topics she'd never been briefed on, answering to people she'd never met.
"There were individuals working there that had secret files that nobody knew about on some of these most controversial topics," Noem said.
Those files are now in the hands of attorneys.
Biden's people didn't just leave behind a broken border – they left career operatives collecting classified material on topics they were never authorized to touch, in rooms their own Secretary didn't know existed.
Noem said it herself: "I always believed when people talked about the deep state before that it existed. I never would have dreamed that it was as bad as it is."
DHS Spyware, Kash Patel's Phone Records, Susie Wiles — This Is the Same Deep State Playbook
Three separate operations. One week.
Biden's FBI subpoenaed the private phone records of Kash Patel and Susie Wiles in 2022 and 2023 – both private citizens at the time, with no government role – then buried the files in "Prohibited Access" folders specifically designed to hide them from oversight.
It gets worse.
FBI agents recorded a phone call between Wiles and her own attorney without Wiles' knowledge.
Her lawyer. Her private legal conversations. Captured by the same FBI now run by the man whose records they were stealing.
Ten agents are already out the door, with more potentially coming.
And now Noem is revealing that DHS employees ran the exact same playbook from inside the building – spyware on the boss's phone, a secret room full of classified files, a shadow operation built to outlast any election.
This is not a coincidence. Career bureaucrats installed a system to hide evidence of their own crimes from their own director.
Trump warned America in his first term that the Deep State was real and would do anything to stop him.
He was right.
With Noem's secret rooms, Musk's tech sweeps, and Patel's mass firings – the receipts are finally coming due.
