Unlike other Popes in recent history, Pope Francis has made his political opinions well-known. 

Regularly, Francis issues decrees and messages laced with left-wing insanity. 

But Pope Francis is regretting his choices after Donald Trump took personal offense to this woke move.

Pope Francis’ latest move has Trump supporters demanding answers

Pope Francis has earned a reputation over the years for his radical left-wing political opinions. 

He has made these opinions very well known, regularly inserting them into decrees and letters. 

For example, Francis has routinely called for action on the so-called “climate crisis” while also promoting open borders, among other radical political causes. 

And just the other day, Francis named Cardinal Robert McElroy of San Diego to serve as the archbishop of Washington, D.C. 

This move has outraged conservative Catholics across the nation, given McElroy’s public opposition to incoming President Donald Trump. 

In 2017, for example, McElroy stated, “President Trump was the candidate of disruption. He was the disrupter.  Well, now we must all become disrupters.”

He then discussed immigration, adding, “We must disrupt those who would seek to send troops into our streets to deport the undocumented, to rip mothers and fathers from their families,” 

“We must disrupt those who portray refugees as enemies, rather than our brothers and sisters in terrible need. We must disrupt those who train us to see Muslim men and women and children as sources of fear rather than as children of God,” the radical “woke” cardinal then stated. 

McElroy has also voiced his support for outgoing President Joe Biden, issuing a scathing rebuke of the Catholic Church’s refusal to issue Joe Biden communion over his fervent support of abortion. 

As it stands, Catholic Canon Law states that those who obstinately persevere in manifest grave sin shall not receive communion, and many Catholic leaders view supporting abortion as obstinately preserving a grave sin. 

In 2021, McElory bashed the decision to deny Joe Biden communion, writing, “The Eucharist is being weaponized and deployed as a tool in political warfare.”

These sorts of remarks have infuriated conservative Catholics all across the nation, who already felt uneasy about Pope Francis. 

Some worry that Robert McElroy will abuse his new position in Washington, D.C., bashing Donald Trump every chance he gets. 

Meanwhile, Washington, D.C. has become a cesspool of sin and depravity that makes even Sodom look like a bastion of righteousness.
