As Donald Trump and his star-studded cabinet are waiting to assume power Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats are plotting for their arrival.
Some will leak information to the press others may engage in more nefarious acts to disrupt the America First agenda.
But this top Biden lackey just threw a last-second Hail Mary that has Donald Trump’s blood boiling.
When it comes to the executive branch of America’s federal government, there is not a shortage of areas in need of reform.
That is why Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy’s DOGE was heralded as “a once-in-a-generation opportunity” by Senator John Cornyn (R-TX).
It’s because the sheer amount of redundancy, waste, and corruption is so vast and entrenched in our government that President Trump is turning to two geniuses to run an entire entity to clean it up.
When the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) was announced, Senator Joni Ernst identified nearly $2 trillion Musk and Ramaswamy’s DOGE could save taxpayers.
Senator Rand Paul has become infamous for his yearly Festivus tradition of “Airing of Grievances,” which is where he identifies egregious executive branch expenditures and how much they cost taxpayers.
In 2024, Sen. Paul found that our government spent nearly one million dollars to research whether cocaine increased sexual promiscuity in Japanese quail.
But aside from the waste, and there is a lot of it, incompetence and corruption will be a pervasive problem for the incoming Trump Administration.
Antony Blinken, Joe Biden’s Secretary of State, actually hosted what sources described as “cry session(s)” for State Department bureaucrats after President Trump defeated Kamala Harris in last year’s election.
So if those reports coming out of the State Department are true, that means there’s almost an entire government agency of ideologically possessed Leftists President Trump will have to deal with on Day One.
Sec. Blinken, however, will thankfully not be one of those aforementioned bureaucrats.
Unfortunately, for Trump supporters everywhere, President Trump will not be able to use his infamous catchphrase “YOU’RE FIRED” to many of these Biden bureaucrats who made life miserable for American citizens for years.
As many of these cowards are resigning now before President Trump gets the chance to fire them.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) Director Steve Dettelbach, for example, recently resigned to avoid being embarrassingly escorted off the premises by members of the Trump Administration.
Some Trump supporters view it as a blessing, saying it’s one less thing President Trump will have to do after the inauguration.
But others feel like justice was denied.
Director Dettelbach made life miserable for gun owners for years.
Dettelbach’s ATF allegedly overbilled taxpayers $20 million by overpaying their agents.
Dettelbach’s ATF has been accused of harassing and intimidating gun owners.
And the ATF’s so-called pistol brace rule was slammed as egregious and unconstitutional by critics.
President Trump promised voters that he would fire Dettelbach on the first day of his new administration.
But Director Dettelbach’s last cowardly act as head of the ATF was to deprive President Trump and gun owners across America of that satisfaction.
