Game shows have remained popular amongst Americans for decades now for good reason.
Once the cameras go live you never know what you might see on your television screen.
And now Wheel of Fortune fans went bananas after this contestant suffered one of the most embarrassing moments in show history.
Thank God for Game Shows
Constantly having a phone in our faces has ruined a lot of good things in life.
Our children used to go out of the house and get some fresh air while they played.
We used to have conversations as a family during dinner time.
And our families used to all gather around and watch some quality television after dinner.
But a lot has changed with cell phones as it’s nearly impossible to get everyone together as a family anymore to do anything.
One of the only things left everyone in the household can enjoy together are game shows.
Game shows have been a staple in houses across America since the 1960s.
The OGs of game shows, like The Price is Right! and The Wheel of Fortune, have been bringing entertainment to our living rooms for generations.
And really, the main thing that keeps people glued to the television screens during game shows like no other program is the fact that you never know what is going to happen.
Sometimes the game show contestant surprises everyone with an answer no one ever expected, but was the right answer.
But more often than not the one thing that we can all enjoy about game shows are the stupid answers some of the contestants provide.
And that’s especially true for the Wheel of Fortune as some of the dumbest answers provided by contestants on the easiest problems come from the show.
For instance, who can forget when the guy answered, “right in the butt” when the right answer was “this is the best.”

But that classic failure caught on camera may now have a running for the worst answer ever on the Wheel of Fortune.
Worst Answer ever on Wheel of Fortune?
In the Wheel of Fortune episode that aired on December 30th, one contestant gave an answer to the board that she would regret the rest of her life.
With the category being “food and drinks”, Contestant Gaelyn Nease was as confident as you can get when answering on the Wheel of Fortune.
Gaelyn caused several letters to fill in some of the board when she said the famous words “I would like to solve the puzzle.”
And with “Ne_ / _or_ / _heese_a_e” up on the board, she responded with “New York Cheesesteak”.
Now that is an awful answer and everyone in the audience knew that was one of the dumbest answers ever when she uttered it out of her mouth.
Obviously, the correct answer was “New York Cheesecake.”

That’s about as embarrassing as it gets.
How can you be so wrong, and yet confident, at the same time?
At least she got New York right, but who has heard of the world-famous “New York Cheesesteak?”
Hopefully, she doesn’t stink this much in real life outside of the game show.
