Democrats have moved from depression to anger as they make their way through the well-known stages of grief while coping with Donald Trump’s historic victory.
They’re now trying to out virtue signal one another by saying how far they’re willing to go to oppose the America First Agenda.
But Tom Homan put the fear of God in Democrats by hitting them with this major reality check.
Curbing illegal immigration has been a central policy focus for President-elect Donald Trump since his first Presidential campaign.
During his first term in office, Trump started building a border wall, empowered Border Patrol and ICE to actually do their jobs of enforcing the law, and even got Mexico to start turning away aspiring illegal aliens BEFORE they reached the US border.
And given how important this issue is to Trump, one would expect that his choice for Border Czar would share his passion for ending illegal immigration.
That’s why former acting Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Tom Homan is the perfect choice for Trump’s Border Czar.
Of course, Trump didn’t just nominate Tom Homan because stopping illegal immigration is his passion project – the voters demanded it.
Even CNN is now reporting that Trump had a 9-point advantage over Vice President Kamala Harris when it came to who voters trusted more to handle the illegal immigration crisis.
But Democrats don’t care about what working-class Americans want, despite all of their whining about “threats to democracy.”
They only care about shoving their woke extremist agenda down our throats.
And they will believe any lie they tell themselves to justify their ends.
Recently, Denver Democrat Mayor Mike Johnston made some interesting remarks when asked what he will do to defy the incoming Trump administration.
And when asked about opposing Trump’s efforts to kick criminal illegal aliens out of the country, Mayor Johnston claimed that “more than us having DPD stationed at the county line to keep them out, you would have 50,000 Denverites there. It’s like the Tiananmen Square moment with the rose and the gun, right? You’d have every one of those Highland moms who came out for the migrants. And you do not want to mess with them.”
The Democrat Mayor appears to be actually recalling the Kent State shootings, but the historical inaccuracies do not dilute his delusional thinking.
To think that Coloradan Moms would actually show up, guns drawn, to protect illegal aliens from the Trump administration is akin to believing men can have periods.
But Mayor Johnston didn’t stop there.
Later on he doubled-down on his opposition to Trump’s deportation plans by saying he’d be willing to even go to jail to protect these illegals.
As the old saying goes, “If you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.”
And it appears that Denver Mayor Mike Johnston is going to find that out the hard way as Tom Homan was asked directly about the Mayor’s recent comments.
“You are absolutely breaking the law. All he has to do is look at Arizona v. U.S. and he would see he’s breaking the law. But, look, me and the Denver mayor, we agree on one thing. He’s willing to go to jail, I’m willing to put him in jail,” Homan said.
Now that is a promise; Americans have been yearning to see it fulfilled for a long time.
For too long, working-class Americans have been tired of having to play by the rules, only to see criminal illegal aliens treated better than citizens, particularly veterans.
Americans are fed up with leaders who prioritize political posturing over the safety and security of their citizens.
Denver Mayor Mike Johnston’s grandstanding is a prime example of this reckless mindset, where ideology takes precedence over the rule of law.
Tom Homan’s no-nonsense approach and unwavering commitment to enforcing immigration our border laws embody the strong leadership the American people demanded when we chose Trump’s America First agenda over the failed policies of the Biden-Harris clown show.
And if radical Democrats like Mayor Johnston are determined to defy the law, as Homan said, they might just end up facing the consequences.
