The woke extremist religious cult is taking over the world.
Truly horrible policies have been disguised as so-called “mainstream” ideas.
And this morbid woke extremist policy making its way to American shores will send a chill down your spine.
Woke extremism has become the dominant religion throughout Europe and the U.S.
Essentially, all of the institutions that produce the ruling class elites have been completely taken over by the woke left-wing outrage mob.
The consequence of that is a cultural decay driven by secularism.
That is why many countries are making government-assisted suicide more accessible.
Cultural despair
Canada’s left-wing, authoritarian government already has the MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying) Program for people whose deaths are “reasonably foreseeable.”
The Netherlands is going one step further and permitting assisted suicide for people with mental health issues.
The Free Press reported that “Zoraya ter Beek, 28, expects to be euthanized in early May. Her plan, she said, is to be cremated. . . Ter Beek, who lives in a little Dutch town near the German border, once had ambitions to become a psychiatrist, but she was never able to muster the will to finish school or start a career. She said she was hobbled by her depression and autism and borderline personality disorder. Now she was tired of living — despite, she said, being in love with her boyfriend, a 40-year-old IT programmer, and living in a nice house with their two cats.”
So, a 28-year-old woman with a boyfriend wants to kill herself because of depression and autism, and the state is facilitating her irrational decision.
Ter Beek explained her decision for cremation by saying, “I did not want to burden my partner with having to keep the grave tidy. . . We have not picked an urn yet, but that will be my new house!”
This is what a sick culture looks like.
Physically healthy people with clinical diagnoses are choosing to kill themselves in higher numbers.
Devaluing life
Stef Groenewoud, a Dutch healthcare ethicist, explained, “I’m seeing euthanasia as some sort of acceptable option brought to the table by physicians, by psychiatrists, when previously it was the ultimate last resort. . . I see the phenomenon, especially in people with psychiatric diseases, and especially young people with psychiatric disorders, where the healthcare professional seems to give up on them more easily than before.”
This is the consequence of woke extremists’ anti-human, paganist, earth-worshiping ideology.
They fundamentally believe that there are too many people on the planet, so government-assisted suicide of mentally unwell people is not only permissible but a good thing.
It is a truly disturbing worldview that cannot be allowed to take hold in America.
