Most parents would agree that raising a teenager is not easy.

On top of not having fully developed brains, teenagers also experience major biological, physical, and emotional transformations in their formative years.

But a mother and father in Mississippi were stunned to see their teenage son’s face plastered on the nightly news.

America is facing a whirlwind of problems under President Joe Biden.

But of all the problems in Biden’s America, skyrocketing crime in Democrat-controlled cities is becoming a serious issue.

And a family in Jackson, Mississippi recently experienced this skyrocketing crime in a terrifying incident that was caught on video.

Last Friday, Heather Allen and her family left their house for a trip to visit family in North Mississippi.

That’s when two men approached their vehicle and pulled out a firearm.

“They kind of do a U-turn, come walking up,” Allen said. “You know, they say something, and I can’t recall what they say, but they start shooting at me. And my son is on the outside of the car, and they’re like, ‘Give, give me the keys, give me the keys.’”

“And they yanked and pulled my daughter out of the car,” she added. “And I stood up, and I saw them.”

The police found her vehicle on a nearby street roughly 40 minutes after it was stolen.

Fortunately, no one was physically injured.

But Allen said she is mentally traumatized from the incident and has been unable to sleep.

The carjacking was caught on camera by the family’s security camera.

On Wednesday, a mother and father in Copiah County, Mississippi were watching the nightly news like they always do when the reporter showed the video of the carjacking in Jackson.

But the mother and father were shocked when they realized that one of the violent thugs in the video was their 14-year-old son.

And to their credit, rather than attempting to protect him, they proceeded to turn him into the Copiah County Sheriff’s Office themselves.

“The 14-year-old, who was identified as Jamontae Latrell Kelly, was charged with armed carjacking and six counts of aggravated assault,” WJTV reported. “On Thursday, Kelly’s bond was set at $1.75 million.”

Kelly has since been transported to the Jackson Police Department, where he will remain until his trial.

The second suspect in the carjacking is still on the run.

But thanks to two honest parents, one of the perpetrators will face the justice he deserves.
