J.K. Rowling is a committed leftist.
But in a twist more surprising than any you’ll find in one of her Harry Potter novels, she’s a leftist that the radical Left hates.
And the woke outrage mob’s efforts to destroy J.K. Rowling just hit a roadblock they never saw coming.
J.K. Rowling vs. insane gender ideology
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has one issue where she breaks away from extremist woke dogma – so-called “gender identity.”
As an actual feminist, Rowling takes issue with men claiming to be women because they stuff a bra and throw on a wig.
If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth.

In the Wizarding World novelist’s eyes, that’s just cosplaying as a woman and actually makes a mockery out of womanhood.
For that very reasonable stance – one shared by the vast majority of the population of the world – the radical Left treats the best-selling female fantasy author of all-time as though she’s “he who shall not be named.”
The cancel culture mob has attempted to boycott all of Rowling’s recent projects, from movies to video games.
But the bullying and boycotts from the Left haven’t been enough to convince Rowling to back down and apologize for not fully following the woke platform.
And in the face of the newest round of woke outrage mob cancelation efforts, Rowling’s television partner is standing by their lady.
HBO backs Rowling over the cancel culture mob
Warner Brothers-Discovery is currently developing a new television series for HBO and its streaming service, Max (formerly HBO Max) based around Rowling’s Wizarding World.
Rowling has reportedly been very hands-on with the project as HBO chief Casey Bloys said she was even “very, very involved in the process selecting the writer and the director.”
It should come as no surprise that the cancel culture mob is once again sharpening their pitch forks and lighting their torches with Rowling as their target.
The efforts only picked up after Bloys confirmed the author’s stances on supposed “trans rights haven’t affected the casting or hiring of writers or production staff.”
In fact, HBO is doubling down on their Rowling support.
A spokesman for HBO told Variety that Warner Brother-Discovery is committed to the company’s relationship with the storyteller.
“(HBO) has been working with J.K. Rowling and in the Harry Potter business for over 20 years,” the spokesman said. “Her contribution has been invaluable. We are proud to once again tell the story of Harry Potter — the heartwarming books that speak to power of friendship, resolve and acceptance. J.K. Rowling has a right to express her personal views. We will remain focused on the development of the new series, which will only benefit from her involvement.”
HBO’s real motivation
But don’t be quick to give HBO too much credit.
The entertainment mega conglomerate offers a plethora of pro-LGBTQQIP2SAA+ movies, series and documentaries.
Warner Brothers-Discovery doesn’t stop there, putting out plenty of content on other woke sacred cows like “climate change,” drug legalization, feminism, Critical Race Theory, soft-on-crime policies and much more.
So, why are they standing by Rowling?
It’s likely less of a political stance by HBO and more speaking to the fact that Rowling is a cash cow for the giant corporation.
