The government-controlled education system has been failing American students since the federal Department of Education was established in 1979.

Donald Trump is promising major federal reforms, but state and local impact matters.

And the woke mob hit the ceiling when this state Superintendent made one proposal to fix America’s broken education system.

Americans’ dissatisfaction with education hit an all-time high

Democrat activists have infiltrated the government-controlled education system at all levels, pushing their woke ideology on young Americans in a desperate attempt to dominate culture.

Countless videos of teachers posting disturbing videos on TikTok go viral every day, mostly thanks to conservative influencer Chaya Raichik.

Raichik’s @LibsofTikTok account on X posts to millions of followers every day, sharing the insanity of Democrat activists, most of whom are schoolteachers.

In September, Raichik exposed a transgender teacher named Andrew Stewart at West Broadway Middle School in Providence, Rhode Island.

The teacher, who was wearing a “Proud Trans Teacher” shirt, was filmed attacking a small business owner over his Trump sign.

Libs of TikTok has also called out the “lunatic” President of the American Federation of Teachers.

“Randi Weingarten is at the DNC and she’s on stage again raging and screeching like a lunatic while jumping up and down and flailing her arms around,” Raichik wrote in August.

Poor leadership in our education system has led to collapsing confidence in education among Americans.

The number of Americans who are “dissatisfied” with education leaped to 63% in 2023.

Now, half of Americans have negative feelings towards the American education system.

Trump vows to return education funding to the states

In response to the lack of faith in America’s government schooling programs, President-elect Donald Trump has proposed major reform.

In July, Trump promised to “find and remove the radicals who have infiltrated the federal Department of Education.”

Then-candidate Trump said that he would order the Department of Justice to use the Civil Rights Act to investigate “any school district that has engaged in race-based discrimination.”

Trump took aim at Critical Race Theory and gender ideology, promising to cut all federal funding to schools that are pushing these harmful agendas.

Now the president elect is preparing for more drastic measures—shut it all down.

Trump has promised that he will be “closing up the Department of Education in Washington, D.C., and sending all education and the education workers’ needs back to the states. . .”

“We want them to run the education of our children because they will do a much better job of it,” he said.

Trump noted that “we spend more money per pupil by three times than any other nation” and that spending has still left us at “the bottom” relative to other countries.

Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters has another great idea.

Walters: Oklahoma will fight for the rights to pray and celebrate our nation

The Christian Post reports that the Oklahoma Department of Education is preparing to launch a new office, the Office of Religious Liberty and Patriotism.

“The state education department said the office will seek to protect students, faculty and parents as they ‘practice their religion freely in all aspects’. . .,” according to the outlet.

Oklahoma has yet to release guidelines for state schools, but they promise to end the “abuses to individual religious freedom” and ensure “the right to pray in schools is safeguarded.”

The Department will also seek to protect “displays of patriotism” in schools.

State Superintendent Walters announced the new initiative in a press release on the Sooner State’s website.

Walters declared war on the Radical Left for their effort “to co-opt the teacher unions and their minions to indoctrinate our children against traditional values of faith and family. . .”

“For decades our nation’s public schools have tragically been ground zero for the erosion of religious liberty in our country,” he said.

Walters has promised that Oklahoma will be “reversing this negative trend.”

“The office will be working with the incoming Trump Administration, we are going to aggressively pursue education policies that will improve academic outcomes and give our children a better future,” Walters promised.

There are still fearless leaders in our nation who are willing to take on the machine.
