The walls are starting to close in on those in Hollywood.
But no one ever expected a late-night TV legend to throw Tinseltown under the bus.
And now the Hollywood cult is out for blood after David Letterman revealed these dark secrets about show business.
Some people never escape Hollywood
People have been speculating for years that despicable atrocities have been taking place in Hollywood.
Many who come to Tinseltown for the first time to pursue a career in music or acting are often never the same after getting involved in show business.
And over the past couple of years, we have been getting reports of what is really happening in the town with Diddy being the latest culprit.
But some are able to escape the evils of the city and go back to normal life.
And one late-night TV legend has been living his best life after leaving Hollywood.
Letterman is thankful he left Hollywood
The former Late Show host sat down with GQ to spill the beans on his time in Hollywood and where he stands now.
Letterman started by opening up on how he felt while being the face of the Late Show.
The former host told GQ, “In show business, I find that I have pretended to be someone I’m truly not. In my life here in Indiana and at my home with my family, I am probably the person I actually am. And I regret that they don’t kind of cross at any point.”
He then explained his faults that he had with the job and the town by adding, “I just feel like personally, I have greater humanity than I did when I was in show business. It was all single-minded and great pressure, real unimagined, and I felt like it’s all on me, and it’s all on me, and that it was all nonsense.”
GQ then asked Letterman about his infamous reputation that people had of him hating the show.
“I was drinking heavily in those days — that may have provided some fuel for misery,” he admitted. “And I guess not achieving what I imagined to be, like — you take Johnny Carson, there’s never going to be anybody as good at that kind of show as Johnny. Nobody better. Maybe there are people now who are excellent broadcasters and as good as Johnny, but nobody better. So here I am thinking: ‘Oh crap, I am not going to be as good as Johnny. What am I doing here?’”
But thankfully, Letterman has moved on from his time as one of the biggest faces in Hollywood.
He now lives a quieter life with his family in Indiana.
And he has noticed a big difference between Hollywood and Indiana.
“All I cared about was television, one hour of television that I was responsible for, for 30 years,” Letterman said. “That’s all I cared about. Everything fell apart, went away. I didn’t even know if it was falling apart or not. And now I have the energy and the broader focus to recognize humanity has other fulfilling pursuits.”

It’s worth noting just how many past big names in Hollywood have fled the town in recent years.
For example, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson left Hollywood and bought a farm in Virginia to get his family away from Hollywood.
There is just something about that town that changes people for the worst.
