Under Donald Trump’s first administration, religious liberty was championed in the United States.

But under the Biden-Harris regime, things took a dark turn, and the government began cracking down on faith.

Now Rev. Franklin Graham offers prayers for monumental change coming to the United States.

Trump promoted Free Speech and Religious Freedom for his entire first term

On May 4, 2017, Donald Trump signed Executive Order 13798 entitled “Promoting Free Speech and Religious Liberty.”

At the time, most of America would have guessed that it was not necessary as the topics covered were constitutionally protected.

Now, after four years of the rogue Biden-Harris regime, it’s starting to make sense.

The order mandated that all executive departments and agencies “respect and protect the freedom of persons and organizations to engage in religious and political speech.”

It ordered the executive branch to “vigorously enforce” the laws on the books that protect the religious freedom that many of us had taken for granted.

The order also issued a mandate to the Department of Health and Human Services to form a “Conscience and Religious Freedom Division.”

This allowed for certain organizations to refrain from providing health care services that were in violation of moral convictions.

Trump doubled down with an executive order that established a White House Faith and Opportunity Initiative.

The goal was to gain perspective on how best to help faith-based community programs thrive and give them a seat at the table to weigh-in on policies affecting them.

But under the Biden-Harris regime, there has been an abrupt turn for the worse.

Biden declared war on Americans of faith

The Biden-Harris regime ran for four years on an all-out assault on free speech and declared a war on Republicans that America will never forget.

On September 1, 2022, he gave his historic “Battle for the Soul of the Nation” speech in which he said Democrats’ political opponents “represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”

The war on Republicans quickly morphed into a war on Americans of faith.

That gave Biden the leverage he needed to send federal agencies conducting investigations on people that “purchase religious texts like a bible,” according to a House Judiciary report in January 2024.

The House Judiciary Committee suggested the FBI coordinated “pervasive financial surveillance” to diminish our citizens’ “fundamental civil liberties.”

The Biden-Harris regime manipulated the FACE Act, which was meant to prosecute people for physically obstructing access to health care facilities, so that the DOJ could prosecute praying sidewalk counselors.

Catholic News Agency reported that on May 31, 75-year-old Paulette Harlow was sentenced to 24 months after peacefully protesting outside of a Washington, D.C. abortion clinic.

But now, Trump is heading back to the White House, and many believe that the winds of change are coming.

Graham: Trump’s victory was a win for freedom-lovers worldwide

Faith leaders across the country rejoiced at the news that Trump was elected to serve another four years.

Rev. Franklin Graham, the son of the late, great Rev. Billy Graham, made the media rounds on Election Day, but he made clear his only prayer was that “God’s choice and His will for our country would be done.”

But Rev. Graham was quick to celebrate as soon as the first network broke the news.

In the middle of the night, he posted a congratulatory message to X.

“Congratulations to @realDonaldTrump on being elected the 47th president of the United States of America! I pray that you will look to God every day for His guidance and wisdom,” he wrote.

Graham went on to thank the Lord that Trump would preside over the next administration.

“This win is historic in many ways. Millions and millions of people were praying, and I believe God heard their prayers,” he said.

The pastor went on to list out all the “wins” that were coming out of this election.

The most important one is the “win for freedom-loving people everywhere, not just here in America, but around the world.”
