Franklin Graham has been troubled by what he has seen throughout the country.
He turned to his faith.
And Rev. Franklin Graham had one powerful message for Donald Trump that left him speechless.
Graham holds Christian outreach event for Trump in North Carolina
Former President Donald Trump traveled to Concord, North Carolina for an “11th Hour Faith Leaders Meeting” event.
He touched on topics like school choice, religious liberty, and radical gender ideologies.
And Trump contrasted himself with Vice President Kamala Harris.
“She’s very disruptive to religion, she’s very disruptive to Christianity, and very destructive to evangelicals and to the Catholic Church,” Trump said.
The former President warned that Democrats had Catholics and evangelicals in their crosshairs.
“I don’t know how many Catholics are here, but if you’re Catholic, there is no way you can be voting for [Democrats],” Trump said. “Catholics are treated worse than anybody. And by the way, evangelicals are next.”
North Carolina’s own Rev. Franklin Graham – the son of the late, great evangelist Rev. Billy Graham – told the crowd that he came as “a private citizen and as a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
He led the event in a prayer.
“I believe Jesus is the Son of God who came to this earth to take our sins, that he died and shed his blood for our sins and that God raised him to life and the only hope is if we confess our sins and turn and believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ,” Graham preached.
Graham said that rallies and good poll numbers wouldn’t be what decides the election.
He stressed that God would be the one who decides the outcome.
“There’s a spiritual element that’s at work here,” Graham said. “There are dark forces that are arrayed against this man. They’ve tried to put him in prison; they’ve tried to assassinate him twice; he’s attacked every day in the media; and the only hope for Donald J. Trump and our nation is God.”
Graham told the crowd that he encouraged Trump to turn to God each morning.
“I’ve encouraged President Trump that when he wakes up in the morning that the first thing he does is to ask God for help and if he does, God will hear and God will answer his prayer,” Graham said.
Trump visits NC town devastated by Hurricane Helene
While in the battleground state of North Carolina, Trump also made sure to visit the town of Swannanoa, which was devastated by flooding caused by Hurricane Helene.
He slammed the Biden-Harris regime for using the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to funnel taxpayer money that would have helped American hurricane victims to illegal aliens.
“It’s all gone. They’ve spent it on illegal migrants,” Trump said. “Why did they spend hundreds of millions of dollars on something that they were not supposed to be spending it on? They were not supposed to be spending the money on taking in illegal migrants. Maybe so they could vote in the election, because that – a lot of people are saying that’s why they’re doing it. I don’t know, I hope that’s not why they’re doing it.”
Trump vowed to provide help to western North Carolina if he’s elected President.
Once again, the Biden-Harris regime put Americans last to hijack a federal agency to promote illegal immigration.
