Most professional athletes who oppose Democrats’ woke ideology keep their views to themselves out of fear of losing their jobs.

But a select few haven’t been shy about bucking the so-called “mainstream.”

And Patrick Mahomes just stunned reporters with this truth about Harrison Butker’s behavior in the locker room.

Democrats and their media elites are still fuming over statements Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker recently made in a commencement address at Benedictine College.

Butker blasted self-proclaimed “Catholic” President Joe Biden for supporting abortion and defended masculine excellence against the woke Left’s war on men.

“Be unapologetic in your masculinity, fighting against the cultural emasculation of men,” Butker declared. “Do hard things. Never settle for what is easy.”

“Our own nation is led by a man who publicly and proudly proclaims his Catholic faith, but at the same time is delusional enough to make the sign of the cross during a pro-abortion rally,” he added. “Things like abortion, IVF, surrogacy, euthanasia, as well as a growing support for degenerate cultural values in media, all stem from the pervasiveness of disorder.”

Butker has been viciously attacked by the woke outrage mob from the moment his speech ended.

USA Today smeared him as “misogynistic and homophobic” and labeled his comments “beyond unacceptable.”

Democrats’ woke outrage mob minions even created a petition urging the Chiefs to fire Butker, and the NFL condemned his actions in a statement.

But Butker had some unexpected allies come to his defense.

Chiefs owner Clark Hunt’s wife, Tavia, wrote a post on Instagram promoting the same traditional values that Butker spoke about in his commencement address.

Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones defended Butker in a post on X where he called him a “brotha” and told him, “I love you.”

But on Wednesday, Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes also defended Butker and told reporters that he is a “good person” with excellent character and integrity.

“I’ve known him for seven years,” Mahomes said. “I judge him by the character that he shows every single day, and that’s a good person as someone who cares about the people around him, cares about his family, wants to make a good impact in society.”

“When you’re in the locker, there’s a lot of people from a lot of different areas of life, and they have a lot of different views on everything,” he added. “And we’re not always going to agree. He said certain things I don’t agree with.”

Coach Andy Reid also stood behind his kicker, even going so far as to hit back at a self-proclaimed “journalist” who claimed Butker was “speaking ill of women.”

“Everybody is from different areas, different religions, different races, and so we all get along, we all respect each other’s opinions,” Reid said. “It’s a great thing about America, man. And we’re just, like I said, a microcosm of that and my wish is that everybody could kind of follow that.”

The fact that Chiefs ownership, coaches, and his teammates are rallying behind Butker is yet another indication that the tide may be turning against woke extremism in America.

Americans are fed up with Democrats’ woke ideology ruining everything good in America.

And instead of losing his job, Harrison Butker has been elevated to hero status in the minds of millions of Americans across the nation.
