Donald Trump’s plan to purchase Greenland meets resistance from establishment RINOs
Donald Trump entered office with a mandate to put America First in foreign policy.
Trump saw Communist China threatening to take over the Panama Canal and Russia making noises about dominating Arctic shipping lanes as a threat to American prosperity.
That’s why Trump fired right out of the gate with a proposal to require the Panama Canal and to purchase Greenland.
Greenland not only sits in a critical shipping lane, but it also possesses stores of rare minerals America needs for energy and military technology.
But Greenland is an autonomous territory of Denmark.
Donald Trump is deadly serious about acquiring Greenland to ensure America’s national security and economic prosperity.
Denmark doesn’t want to give up Greenland.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen told Donald Trump that “Greenland belongs to the Greenlanders” adding that Greenland is “not for sale.”
The Danes are now getting help from RINOs to subvert American interests on the global stage.
RINO Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski signed a letter along with a Member of the Danish Parliament representing Greenland for Inuit Ataqatigiit and Chair of the Standing Committee of Parliamentarians of the Arctic Region Aaja Chemnitz opposing Trump’s proposed purchase of Greenland.
“In recent weeks, as President Trump has suggested the U.S. should purchase Greenland from the Kingdom of Denmark, attention has rapidly turned to what the future may hold. The appeal of Greenland is easy to understand. It is strategically located for defense, shipping, and more. It is also a storehouse for all sorts of minerals, the building blocks of society that will determine who leads – and controls – the industries of the future,” the statement began.
“Of course, a businessman turned president would be interested. But Greenland is not for sale. The question has been asked and firmly answered by the government of Greenland, Naalakkersuisut,” the letter continued.
Murkowski and Chemnitz flat out said Greenland will never be part of America and Trump should come up with a new way to redefine its relationship with Greenland.
“The future does not require us to redraw the borders on that map, but to work harder than ever across them. The respectful, consensus partnership is the only way to truly foster the ties that will bind Greenland and the United States together for the long haul. We call the Arctic our home. We work hard to ensure prosperity, peaceful and respectful collaboration and protection of our people. We believe in a stronger partnership for a brighter future across the Arctic,” the letter added.
Lisa Murkowski is proving to be a real snake in the grass.
Murkowski voted against confirming Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
Murkowski voted to convict Donald Trump in the January 6 impeachment hoax.
And Murkowski voted against Pete Hegseth’s confirmation as Secretary of Defense.
Now Murkowski is siding with a foreign government against her own country because she simply hates Donald Trump.
